Captain Tony gave us a fantastic experience! He communicated well with us so we knew what to expect. He provided a brief but thorough safety overview, and then, we five friends relaxed in the sun and took in the beautiful fresh air, sunshine, and sights around us. We don't live far and will plan more excursions with Classic Sail Charters. What a great way to spend an afternoon!

I wanted a day out on the water and so I made a few phone calls. Captain Tony was very responsive, followed up w me and we made the schedule work. He was great at explaining things and just a nice, easy to get along with guy. The boat was very well maintained! Can't wait to go back!

Had a great mid day charter (2-5 pm) with Captain Tony. He was an excellent tour guide and sails man. Made us feel comfortable and safe. We learned some facts about sailing. Beautiful boat, weather, and views. Very relaxing. 11/10 recommend doing a charter with Captain Tony!

Under very challenging conditions, Capt. Tony delivered both an exciting yet safe adventure. He clearly has a mastery of sailing and was very personable as well. HIGHLY recommend using Classic Sail Charters - we will again!

We were 4 adults sailing in the morning on the Chesapeake with Classic Sail Charters. Full range of partipants from novice to experienced sailors. Tony explains what he is doing, shows you the key sights on shore, and makes everyone feel at home. The boat is a 42 foot Catalina-- handles well, very clean, and plenty of snacks on hand. Tony and his assistant are quite professional, but low-key and friendly. I highly recommend this experience.

Capt. Nate & Payton were great! We did an engagement shoot on the boat and they were unbelievably helpful. They were extremely accommodating to the photographer and worked to position the boat perfectly as the sun was setting. Siena is a beautiful boat and the west river is idyllic. Can't recommend enough.

Captain Tony was great host and helped us have a fantastic experience. He even taught my husband some sailing skills, which allowed me to relax, have some snacks and drinks. Boat was clean and very well maintained. He has a strong commitment to saftey and is very knowledgable about sailing. Highly encourage others to book a trip with him.

My fiancé and I are both from New England and grew up by the water, so we knew we wanted a nautical setting for our engagement photos. We had a fabulous time with Classic Sail Charters on the beautiful Siena! Captain was so helpful in offering to angle the boat this way and that for better light and even raising or collapsing sails. We'll definitely be back!

How much would it cost for two people? I feel ashamed to say this, but we don't want to learn. We just want to lean back and enjoy the water and have someone else do the sailing for us. This would be for the end of September. How is the weather then?

I'm not sure if they charge by the person or hour, etc.
They for sure can handle it if you just want to sit back and do nothing. We just did that to make it interesting for my kid.
I'm not from the Annapolis area but I've been out there in the fall and it's awesome so no worries there.
Boat has a motor, a shady cover, lots of places to get some sun, the captain watches the weather, etc. it's really effortless.
If contact them and just explain what you want and I'm sure they can take care of you.

During the high season (June-Aug) we limit overnight trips to weekdays, but yes, depending on the number of passengers we do offer. Please feel free to call for additional information.
