Great bike rentals right next to the bike trail. Really friendly, helpful staff with high quality well-maintained bikes. It was a great opportunity for us to try out electric assist bikes.

Friendly staff, great equipment, well maintained bikes...made the whole day enjoyable. Even helped with a knee scrape when we got back to the shop.

We wanted to do a late morning ride this past Saturday, Village Bike Rentals was very helpful, had great bikes at reasonable prices, and just great guys! I would highly recommend using them and checking out the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail. So pretty! Great ride. Thank you Village Bike Rentals!

We stopped in to ask about bike rentals and found a great, friendly bike shop. The owner was helpful and attentive, and helped us rent 2 bikes. The bike shop is located right on the Ashuwillticook Rail Trail which was real pretty and well maintained with plenty of places to stop and enjoy the scenery. Our bikes were fun, in good order, and reasonably priced. We'd rent there again!

Haven't ridden a bike in years these people were friendly and helpful. Got us set up with 2 bikes and helmets. We rode 10 miles round trip.

We got to the place at 4:30 pm when they really close at 5:00 pm. The staff was so friendly and happy when we got there!! They gave us bikes for 2 hours withought a problem. They have the best bikes and also provide helmets and basket for no additional charge. They give the best service with a smile!!!
Highly recommended. They are also right near a beautiful scenic route and are helpful about telling you where to go.

August and 70-something degrees on a Sunday couldn’t not have been spent any better than a stop at Village Bike Rentals and a great afternoon. Store location is great and literally around the corner from the tail trail. We found parking with ease. We had brought water bottles and the bikes are equipped with standard water bottle holders or you can rent a bag or basket to affix to your bike which is what we did. The bike setup was quick and easy and we were even fitted for our bike helmets, which are not required but always recommended. The trail is lovely and even and I would say any age could enjoy the journey. We traveled the entire rail trail, that is just over 21miles, in approx 3hrs with a 30min lunch at Whitney’s Farm Market. There you will find an amazing lunch, recommend as a stop on our journey to enjoy great sandwiches & fresh baked goods like fruit pies and Apple cinnamon donuts etc. The ride was so enjoyable made possible by the wonderful owners of the bike shop. Highly recommend this as a stop on your Berkshire journey. We certainly look forward to a return for the fall foliage.

We rented bikes for an afternoon on the nearby rail trail. Drew McAuliffe assisted us with bike selection and took time to speak with us, answer questions, and he took great care to make sure we were satisfied with everything. He could not have been nicer. The ride was a lot of fun and great exercise. Village Bike Rentals is highly recommended.

Efficient, friendly and comprehensive customer service - lovely 22 mile flat bike ride with delicious lunch at farm stand. Wonderful afternoon activity.

Excellent customer service from Greg who gave us a spot on orientation to this stunning trail. We rode the entire 22 miles in about 2 hours- through a canopy of trees, marshes and a reservoir. Absolutely beautiful!
