nothing to do here, it was almost deserted when we visited, a few people in the Cafe but what to do there? nothing, left in 2 mins

Efter at have spist på flere spisesteder i Nuuk den sidste uge, er det her jeg samlet set mht. fisk har haft størrest madoplevelse. Snekrabber er super, deres grønlandske tapas er godt lavet og mere bredt end menukort lover f.eks. på Hans Egedes restauranter. Stjerneskud med hellefisken er også god. Vildtpølse i “Varm slædehund”, skuffer når man som os kommer fra Tyskland, pølsen var ikke fast i det, og mindede mere om pølse fra glas end hjemmelavet, der er heller ikke angivelse af hvad det vilde går ud på. Men den er flot og sjov serveret. Kaffen er også rigtig god. Man sidder godt, og det er muligt at finde et andet bord, hvis småbørn ved nabobord er utilfredse.

Her er såmænd rart at være, men betjeningen har måske lige travlt nok og er måske optaget af så meget andet, at kunden ikke nødvendigvis føler sig i centrum .

I really expected a little bit more. The gallery was almost completely empty. Had the Greenlandic tapas at the cafe. OK, but not very impressive this time. Worth a visit though. Also, check the events that are arranged at Katuaq!

I went there in 2019 for lunch and also saw the Greenland Rock Band "Nanook" perform there, and it was just fabulous. I had the Greenlandic Tapas which consisted of smoked reindeer, shrimp, scollops, vegetables. It was excellent. The center itself, is quite beautiful, and is used for art exhibits, movies, dancing, concerts. Quite impressive, I must say, as is the country of Greenland, it's people, it's culture, and it's food.

Caféen i kulturcenteret serverer rigtig godt mad. Vi var der til en sen frokost. Menukortet byder på spændende caferetter. Selv spiste jeg en Varm slædehund, der indeholder en rigtig god røget pølse af mouscosokse. Portionerne næsten for store til frokost,

We stopped here for a rest and we saw a small exhibition of local paintings. The place serves as local cinema, restaurant, art and performance center. When we were there they were setting tables for a local event. There's a bar with table just at the entrance, on the right. Interesting and useful for locals, but somewhat less us as tourists.

I have visited that place to have a lunch, as it was highly recommended. I went for Greenlandic tapas and it was a great choice. The service was great, speaking English and very attentive. I strongly recommend this place if you are in Nuuk.

Well, I have now had muskox - a burger.
The fries were better.
As for the building, it is quite stunning. I'd like to be there at night when they light the wavy exterior wall as if it were the Northern Lights.

Easy to find, with beautiful curving walls fascinating exhibits
I was there to early to see everything as it opened later on Sunday. Be sure to check times it is open.
