I really enjoyed touring with University of Greenland with the tour guide in October 2019. Very interesting paintings of Inuit life on the walls of the school. Beautiful building as well.

A very nice guided tour in this Arctic located University, with 4 dept, and a large selection of good library. Also, can find good titles to buy if you want to study Arctic. The cafe provides express good food as well.

My daughter was studying at the university so when I visited her I had to see the University. Very cool building, very modern. All concrete and raw, very scandinavian looking. My daughter loved being there. Had a nice cafeteria for lunch and when I was there they were serving frog legs !!! Just loved the place

Grønland har skam sit eget universitet, ligesom landet har sit eget ministerie indenfor mange områder som f.eks. undervisning og socialvæsen.
Politikerne i Grønland ignorerer alle anbefalinger fra videnskaben. De værste slyngler får de højeste embeder, og intet tyder på, at det bliver bedre.

We didn't go inside, we didn't want to disturb :). You get really nice views of the city and the sea from here as the university is on a hill.

Единственный университет в Гренландии. Студентов не так много, большинство старается уехать в Дании при возможности. Среди прочего преподают теологию.

Here you learn about the arctic world and there is no filter. Here you experience for your self why the inuit people as the only human beings could survive coldness, darkness, the clean air, stars without numbers and the aurora borealis. Meet and talk to the young students and hear their voices for a independancy. Experience the great art that complete the concrite walls. Read about the history in the library, and have a plain meal with a view to the SERMITSIAQ.

Universitetet har en særlig arkitektur som virker godt med de grønlandske fjelde som baggrund. Et universitet er et dynamisk sted og et besøg er mest interessant hvis den sker i forbindelse med et offentlig arrangement. Universitet har afholdt flere offentlige foredrag hvoraf flere har været gode.
Universitet plejer sammen med Grønlands Naturinstitut at deltage i Nuuk Kulturnat med mange interessante udstillinger.

The University is a building with special architectural design. The building itself is called Ilimmarfik, and right next door is the Greenland Institute of Natural Resources. The university itself is spread across three buildings in the city, however this is the building it is known for. About 150-200 students study in this building, although there are about 600 students altogether.
You're able to just walk in and have a look around, then go outside to the graveyard and walk along the coast line for a bit.
It's worth having a walk in if you have time - it must have one of the most beautiful settings in the world.
