Booked and told to ring when we arrived on island. Tried many times for no answer.
Hopeless, we were looking forward to a day out fishing on the island but this company spoiled this. Thanks for nothing.
My suggestion go elsewhere.

The Jacksons are great guys, expert fishermen, and give you the best experience you could hope for!
I'm heading back again in September, and absolutely shipping out with these guys for another spectacular day!

Make sure you know what you are paying for when you book a fishing charter with these guys. We thought we would be able to take all of our fish with us at the end of the day, but they had already sold our catch and had people waiting to take our fish when we got back.

Rude Bogans without a professional bone in their body. Very poor customer service .gets your money & changes character completely. Thw staff act like their on a P&O cruise with very little regard for customer service/care and safety.

Weather restricted the fishing to only being possible on the Friday . The skipper Troy did an excellent job and was very entertaining. Not only with fishing but history of the island. A lot of fish caught. A great day out and would thoroughly recommend. Thanks from John .

As everyone knows with fishing, it is a thing of chance. We had booked for a whole day of fishing as our day venture for our wedding anniversary. From the outset we were impressed with the Jackson's. Lovely, personable and friendly. These guys know the seas around the island and to catch either a tuna or marlin was on my husbands bucket list. Despite myself getting seasick (for the first time ever) and lucking out on the game fish we still caught some great sized fish (and my husband kept the sharks away from mine) and had a brilliant time. Thank you so much to the guys for a great day, and we will be back to catch the elusive 'big one'.

Terrible. Despite perfect weather when other groups went fishing successfully, this mob refused to venture out for two successive days and gave no reason for the non-trips. So much for booking two months early. A refund was provided however the potential experience of fishing in a beautiful setting was lost.
Otherwise Norfolk Island is wonderful.

We had booked Jacksons fishing charters from Australia and made contact the day we arrived. The weather was against us though and it was around five days later that we managed to get aboard and head out to the reef. Troy Jackson was captain on the day and was interesting and informative, keeping us up to date with the distance, time and what we could expect to catch. We had a great day and caught a heap of Yellowtail Kingfish plus some beautiful Red Throat Emperor (local trumpeter) plus a couple of the ever present sharks. The ride back was pretty rough as the weather had deteriorated and we had huge swells. However Troy handled this well and never looked concerned or worried. After the fish were cleaned and filleted the boys delivered them to our holiday address and we were able to enjoy fresh fish for the rest of our stay. I would certainly recommend this company to any keen fisherman.

This was a highlight of our trip. It was on my husband's bucket list.
Gilbert and his brother Troy gave us a great day of sightseeing and fishing and were patient with my lack of fishing skills. We had a beautiful fish supper at Hilli Cottage at Tintoela on our last night on the island. Thank you guys !!!
