Kasuni beach is great if you don’t have a car to drive to more secluded beautiful spots. You can take an uber for about five euro from the outside of Split city center and be there in 5-10 minutes. We stayed and watched the sunset—it was just gorgeous and quite empty as it was the end of September. There is a nice beach bar next to it, although we opted to sit on towels nearby. The water is clear and blue, and the nearby landscape is forested on one side and with the open water on the other side of the bay. Would definitely recommend if you’re looking for something a bit more quiet and clean than Bačvice, but still close to the heart of Split.

Amazing beach with crystal clear water and the most incredible scenery you will find in Split. The beach is good enough on its own, but the beach bar on the beach adds to the experience!

We were disappointed with this beach. The quality of the beach did not justify the effort of getting to/from it. There was an extensive amount of seaweed floating in the sea and along the shoreline, alongside lots of litter/plastic/rubbish. I'm not sure if this is normal or due to unusual weather or water currents, but it was not pleasant. The sunbeds also seemed quite expensive.

Die Umgebung des Strandes ist wunderschön mit den Klippen und grün. Ich finde aber die Steine im Wasser nicht wirklich.. toll. Sie sind glitschig und lassen das Wasser trüb aussehen. Mehr als die Umgebung hat es wirklich nicht zu bieten.

This beach is a little further out of Split town but defo worth it. It has a stunning forest and cliff backdrop and it relatively laid back.
The further to the right you go, the more gay-friendly it gets.
We stopped at Joe’s 2 beach bar which is less hectic than Joe’s and a little further on. Music was chilled, service great. Loungers €22 euros for the day but seems cheap after holidaying in Mykonos and Ibiza (it’s still not though!)
DON’T get a a cab. Get Uber or bus. We were charged €32 for a metered cab for 10 journey from town. The same journey by Uber was €6(!)
The beach is stony but we managed without aqua socks. Depends how delicate you are!

Beautiful but if you want to rent a bed from Joe’s you need deep pockets. 190 kn for a single or 800kn for a fancy double (including 2 cocktails). Needless to say most of the beds are empty and everyone is squeeze onto the pebbles!

Lovely beach. Shingle beach so need appropriately food west as can hurt underneath feet when entering sea. Beach bar served nice food but was loud at times. Sunbeds can get booked up quick so best to go early to avoid disappointment.

Best beach in Splt by a distance. There is a very trendy bar with food and bed, although they are pretty expensive.
The beach is much finer pebbles than other beaches and its a lovely bay. Like a lot of Split the water gets suddenly deep quickly after a few meters, so not ideal for very young kids. My daughter and I went snorkelling and saw lots of fish in very clear water.

Wir haben diesen Strand extra besucht da so geschwärmt wurde. Strand ist schön und sauber, jedoch völlig überfüllt und laut. Kaum Platz zum liegen sehr eng. Gibt definitiv bessere und schönere Strände in Split.

Plage avec beaucoup de gravats et pas de sable ce qui est pas super confortable. Peu de place donc venez tôt et avec des matelas ou des matelas gonflables. Les transats sont à louer mais le prix est vraiment exagérer.
Le petit bar est sympa et l’ambiance est assez festive.
L’eau est magnifique on se baigne facilement.

Hi there... I was looking for a step by step list of things to do here but I couldn't find it. I would like to ask you a couple of things please:
1. Is it better to get there by bus or by car?
2. Is it ok to bring a lunchbox with drinks and food or that isn't allowed?
3. is it ok to bring my own chair and umbrellas?, or would I be able to find that for rent there at the beach?
Is this a beach that you could recommend us?, or is there any other beaches near Split you could recommend us more/equal?
Any insights will be greatly appreciated. Aloha!! Tony.
