Well worth the trip for a taster of each of the three islands. Just wish we could have spent more time there.

Waste of money..

Booked the three island tour with Michael Sturica at the harbour instead of the blue cave trip as was convinced by Michael that it was better value for money as food/drink included in the 60 euro price and an all day trip. The islands trip was the same price as the blue cave trip which lasted only 4 hours. Left Cavtat at 10am, picked up others from two other stops before heading to the first island. The boat was absolutely crammed full. Had a 40 minute stop at the first island, barely enough time to swim before heading back to the boat where people had left their belongings in order to reserve their same seat. The free drinks were bottles of orange etc, bought from a supermarket and were all self service from a cool box! Then off to the 2nd island, again 40 mins so no time to do anything. The food was one fish, 2 slices of tomato and shredded cabbage and bread. There was nowhere for our family of 3 to sit together to eat. The third stop was a walk of about 15 min at the harbour to pay 3 euros per person for a golf buggy to take you to the beach. Then 10 euros per sunbed and 10 euros for a sun umbrella. Back on the boat heading back only to see that all the 'free' drinks had been removed from the Dubrovnik to Cavtat leg of the journey. I'm writing this review in the hope that no-one else gets ripped off like us. The excursion was far oversold. If I pay 180 euros for a trip with my family I at the very least expect a seat together! Never again

Overpriced

I think as beautiful as Dubrovnik is it is overpriced and full of tourists who want the game of thrones experience my advice would be go to the islands for a real Croatian holiday

Total waste of time and money

We bought this ship trip in the Port Gruz. The girl Sandra sold it and told how exciting it will be. The ship looked good on the picture. We were very excited to make this ship trip, it was our last day in Dubrovnik and we wanted make it special. On the day of trip the car picked us up from our stay, that was good because we didnt have to go to port by foot. Then we had to wait like 20 minutes for other people. When everyone arrieved we had to do some long walk to the boat. It wasnt very good under a hot sun. The first impression of the boat wasnt good. It looked like new on the picture but in fact it was old and not comfortable. And i expected it would be bigger. The first thought was ask to give money back and not go, but we still went and regret then. The live jackets were hanging off the ceiling, almost touching the head that wasnt very comfortable. When the boat went it was strong smell of the gasoline all the time, no matter at that part of the boat you are. From that smell and the pitching on the boat we got sick very soon. The first stop was island Lopud. The island is nice. The sunj beach was beautiful and had big waves. It was like 2 km walk from the ship stop, but it is possible to take electro car taxi for 3 euro. The island made a good impression. The stop was like 3 hours. So we rested from that pinching and felt better. The other two islands were almost the same, actually nothing to see there. The stops lasted like 30 min. People could swim or spend time in cafes at the beach. The lunch was ok, but the girl selling us this trip promised fresh sea fish, but it was usual mackerel, it didnt taste like it was fresh, think it was frozen. The way back to Dubrovnik was quit long and tiring. We felt sick again. We couldnt wait untill its over. We wasted the whole day for our own money. I wrote this comment in english so more people can read it. It it total waste of time and money. It was our last day in Dubrovnik and we totalky ruined it. Most people at the ship i talked to were disappointed. So sad! We had the feeling we are bring tricked!

3 island trip - Sipan, Lopud and Kolocep

Three picturesque islands of the Elaphite. Two of them have no vehicles & the third only a small number. The islands offer wonderful strolls along tracks through plantation and crystal clear swimming. There is not much else on the islands - just the opportunity to escape the hustle and bustle of city life.
We travelled with Adriatic explore, which offered a large roomy boat with a tasty lunch of fish or chicken.

Luxury, unique boat trip to the islands

The best way for day trip to Dubrovnik islands is with Sipan Line speed boat. Great atmosphere on the boat; music, local wines, swimming in the crystal sea from the boat and experience of local island life style

Sunshine needed!

We went on a 3 island trip.

It was okay. The weather was rubbish, which didn’t help, but there really was not that much to see or do on the islands.

These are really only worth doing in the sunshine!

Magnifique bâteau et top ambiance !

Organisation au top avec Karaka, transfert depuis notre hôtel et retour impec, l'organisation à bord est simplement géniale, musique, ambiance, guide, décicieux repas et l'après midi des fruits en partage (raisons, prunes, pastèques...).... Nous avons passé une mémorable journée à bord de ce bateau original et atypique, ambiance assurée, ..... la visite des îles étaient super également, juste un petit bémol le temps sur l'île de Lopud me semble trop long ....... On ne peut pas faire Dubrovnik sans faire Karaka Iles Elaphites, .........je souhaite le meilleur à toute l'équipe qui fait vraiment de son mieux pour les clients et cela s'apprécie un maximum bravo !!!!

Une agréable journée en mer

Départ de l'hôtel en voiture puis embarquement sur le M/B Mara. Première escale, Kolocep, la plus petite des Elephates. Un petit port, quelques artisans, des chemins escarpés. Sympa... mais rien d'exceptionnel.
Deuxième escale, Sipan, Promenade autour d'un imposant château construit par des nobles au temps de Ragusa, actuellement à l'abandon, dégustation d'huiles et de délicieux alcools locaux, visite d'une étonnante chapelle... une pause très agréable.
Traversée vers Lopud, partage, à bord, du repas de midi chaud et appétissant (choix entre viande, poisson et menu végétarien), boissons et vin compris.
Dernière halte en rade de Lopud, ville charmante, très animée avec ses anciens monastères, ses églises, un imposant jardin botanique créé par un noble ragusien autour de sa villa (actuellement en ruines)... mais actuellement ce parc s'avoue lui-même insuffisamment entretenu faute de moyens. Nombreuses terrasses et de magnifiques plages de sable... le couronnement de la croisière. Pas exceptionnelle... mais très agréable ! Un petit regret : consignes et commentaires en anglais uniquement.

The Elegiti 3 islands trip .

We had the most brilliant trip to these 3 stunning islands . We was taken around on the karaka boat. It is like a old pirate ship.
The crew and guide ,Darkio ,were brilliant.
Ont the first 2 islands you have to option of going for a hike with Darko. We done the first before it got too hot.we had 45 minutes there. It is a beautiful island .
Then we swam on the other 2 islands. The last island you be stay for 2.5 hours. Because it was boiling hot all we did was go in the sea . And obviously a ice cream.
I recommend this trip 100% .
