We visited Montenegro for our honeymoon and wanted to book a special day which did not disappoint. We booked through Aleks who was able to accomodate us being picked up from our hotel in Porto, Tivat. We spent 12 hours with Andrija on a private tour who was knowledgeable, kind and attentive. He showed us many places & viewpoints throughout the day including: Budva viewpoint, river view stop in the canyon, Tara spring, Tara bridge, Black Lake & a sunset viewpoint overlooking Bokka bay on the way home.
We were made to feel comfortable and never rushed. Very comfortable and clean car. We made convenient stops for toilet breaks, snacks, coffee & water and had beautiful meal of fresh trout at Tara springs. We packed so much into one day exploring Durmitor national park which is stunning and the views with driving did not make the long journey seem long as there is so much to see. A truly once in a lifetime experience that we can not thank Andrija enough for! Would recommend to anyone visiting Montenegro.

A really excellent, interesting and fun day with Vlado. We visited Kotor and Cetinje and Vlado was one of the best tour guides we have ever had, with an entertaining overview of the towns and in-depth information about Montenegro and its history - there wasn't anything he didn't know. Thoroughly recommend.

We had an amazing time travelling around to see the beautiful sights of Montenegro with our wonderful tour guide Vladimir Markovic.
Vlado is an extremely intelligent, diligent and warm man who happily explained the history of his country as he travelled around. We felt more like we were travelling with an old friend rather than a tour guide as he explained everything in a manner than was as relatable as it was interesting.
The country is absolutely beautiful and having had this tour we were certainly able to understand it a lot better.

In 2023 we went on our first cruise opting for the eastern Mediterranean in order to take in several destinations that we had always meant to try and never quite got around to it. We visited Ravenna (Italy), Koper (Slovenia), Split and Dubrovnik (Croatia), Kotor (Montenegro} and the Greek islands of Santorini, Mykonos, Rhodes (only destination we had been previously), Crete and the Greek mainland.
Before we embarked on the cruise we declared that wherever we liked best would be the destination for our 2024 holiday.
Montenegro won hands down! The scenery as we sailed through the Bay of Kotor was both breathtaking and unique. Majestic mountains, forests and pretty villages in abundance
Kotor proved to be the highlight. and we were keen to revisit this year. A charming centuries old walled town with interesting architecture, quality bars and restaurants and boutique shops.
New for 2024 is a chair lift which takes you from Kotor up to the highest mountain peak offering outstanding views of the city and the bay.
Tivat/Porto Montenegro is also well worth a visit. Virtually rebuilt since 1991 it offers a beautiful marina and classy shops and restaurants.

Catarina (?spelling) was a great guide. She was knowledgeable, relaxed, and accommodating. The day tour included many top sights of Kotor. Our driver Majo (?spelling) was safe and considerate, especially in the awesome winding mountain cliff drive part of the tour. Great value for a day tour of Kotor for families. Highly recommended.

We could not recommend this tour / the team enough. I first made contact with Aleks about a week prior to our arrival. He went above and beyond to design a 3 day itinerary for us that covered most of the prominent sights. His communication was excellent and he truly designed a great tour at such short notice, especially given that we weren’t in the tourist season yet.
Our guide was George who was truly incredible - you can tell he loved his job and he always went above and beyond to show us the best sights. He had incredible knowledge about the different locations and being guided by a local resident meant we learned a lot about the country’s rich past and culture. George always had a smile on his face and a great sense of humour and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Our tours were 12-13 hours on day 1, and 6-7 hours on Day 2 but we always felt safe with his driving!
We visited Ostrog Monastery, Durmitor National Park, Budva, Sveti Stefan, Serpentine bends, Cetinje, Porto Montenegro, Njeguski, Lake Skadar and Tara to name a few. They were truly breathtaking, picturesque and memorable sights.
We look forward to returning one day to see the rest of this gorgeous country.

We just completed the most memorable and enjoyable day trip with Dimitrije. After our initial discussions he put together the perfect daily itinerary whereby we got picked up at our Apartment and dropped us off at our new accomodation at Budva
He was very knowledgeable about all elements of Montenegro history, culture and top places to visit for a memorable experience. our starting plan was to drive up through the 25 switchbacks - Njeguci- Cetinje and return via scenic route to Budva. We elected to add a visit to a small winery for tastings/ food and then a short boat ride at Skadar. The 2 hour winery stop off was an extraordinary experience - the location- the room ambience- the guided commentary and topped with an abundance of wine/ Liqueur and finished with Rakija—- this experience topped off an extraordinary day and I would recommend this company and tour to anyone with a full day available in Kotor or Budva - A world class experience and our best day since we started our worldwide travel adventure 7 months ago 100-100. Top marks Dimitrije and your company Mont Travel

The tour was excellent. There was a discrepancy in the description of the tour I booked on Viator vs what could be included. The tour guide notified me of this issue at pick up and provided recommendations for what we should do. This was disappointing, but could be avoided by confirming the itinerary you want with the company after you book…especially if you book through Viator.
Our guide was wonderful. Lots of great picture stops and good information about the places we visited.
Recommend, with the caveat above.

This was one of the best tours we have done. Drazen was our tour guide and he was fantastic - his English was perfect, he was very friendly and explained to us the key sights around the old town Kotor and I learnt so many things I didn’t know before about Montenegro. I would definitely do this tour again and I highly recommend this agency because of its professionalism and excellent organization!
