Absolutely one of my favourite Cafe/bar in Bulgaria! A family run cafe/bar! A fact about "Art News cafe", she was established in Plodiv in 2008, before Kapana cafes started copying the interior of this original place! And the very only cafe from Bulgaria that was listed in New York time back in 2008! Amazing interior design/ great music, very great selection of drinks:-) and perfect location, right in the centre of historical part of the Plodiv, but away from the busy and overcrowded main Street! Highly recommended this place if you are in Plodiv!

It’s one of the best places in Plovdiv . Great decoration, beautiful music choices , very good coffee. It’s not very crowded so it’s rather quiet. The girl that prepared my coffee (it’s a self-service place btw) was extra polite and could speak some English. I totally recommend it!!

Art News cafe is a very tiny, but cool place situated almost in the very center of the city. It is one the few hipsters cafeterias in Plovdiv. The interior is interesting - just a few tables and cheers (both inside and outside), each of them different style and color. The atmosphere is cozy, the stuff frendly and the music aways good.
I visit Art news cafe often and I usually have a cup of tea there, although they offered wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
So if you are looking for a cool place with English speaking stuff, free Wi-Fi, chill out music and don't mind the self-service this is definitely your place for a drink ;))

Direkt neben dem Odeon Hotel am Rand der Innenstadt gelegen. Stylisch, Angesagter Treffpunkt von Studenten und jungen Leuten. Im Sommer ist es angenehm, draußen zu sitzen. Arbeitsflächen für Laptops.

After a long and strenuous day on the road from Sofia, we came to this delightful coffee shop on the recommendation of our son, who had been in Plovdiv several times. Great coffee, great service and great atmosphere. Plus they sent us next door for a stunning dinner! Well worth the stop!

Very modern cafe with random in Bulgaria hipster style interior. Coffee, drinks and not much more than that . Very small space with only few seats inside . Pity that service is so poor. They don’t even bring drinks to your place while they stay busy drinking their own ones.

On an extended stay in Plovdiv, I came to Art News Cafe at least ten times: great coffee; friendly service; eclectic, modern & comfortable space. Limited homemade food offerings are also available. This was my favorite place in the city to come and work. Empty early in the mornings. An all-around nice spot to enjoy a coffee on the backstreets of Plovdiv.
