The tour was so interesting and captivating. Me and my boyfriend spend a really nice time at this museum and we learn a lot of interesting facts about history of Romania and about the first school in Romania. I felt like I returned in time :)

The house is located within the grounds of the Orthodox church. The residents are proud of it. It's of no interest, unless you are a teacher.

I was only able to see outside because you need 10 people for a tour.
Was bit disappointed about this.
It’s also badly signposted - ended up getting instructions from a priest I disturbed!
Hope to go another time as it looked like it would be interesting!

My friends and I stopped by this site when looking around Brasov, and were invited to join a school tour by two very friendly guides. Ioan in particular was lovely, very passionate and inclusive. We even got sung the Romanian national anthem to by the group of children. We learnt more about Romanian culture and even got nice souvenirs.
It was a 10/10 experience and I would recommend everyone to come to this lovely attraction.

A must to visit when in Brasov. The visit to First Romanian School has easily placed its self in top 3 visits I enjoyed during my stay in Brasov. The tour is held by a very knowledgeable guide who has the gift of presenting everything in a very catchy manner and is open to answer your questions.

A gem of a place with tours led by a passionate and knowledgeable guide, whose voice is made for story telling. Memorable and cosy, this experience gives an insight into Romanian history, particularly linguistic; it's where the Romanian national anthem was first printed.

Very interesting tour, especially the presentation of the guide (Ioan). Ioan has the ability to catch your attention with interesting and important information and with nice jokes in between. Received a nice photo at the desk :). Would definitely recommend attending the First school! I have even received homework to do :). Great guide and tour!

The First Romanian School is an interesting place to visit. Our host explained its significance and gave us a guided tour of the rare books on display upstairs. It is well worth a visit.
