我在来之前对这个地方表示很怀疑，不过在来之后，我变成了这个地方的忠实拥趸!我在参加这次烹饪课程之旅前，觉得价格有些贵，而且也不会太有趣，但我大错特错了。我和一些朋友一起来这里上课，因为他们很想要来这里，我只是跟他们一起来的。整个活动是精心策划的，从接车到菜市场，然后去烹饪学校，然后学习烹饪课程到一天结束。所有的员工都受过良好的训练，非常乐于助人，大多数人都说一口流利的英语，在我们做饭的过程中也保持良好的卫生。他们意识到没有经验的游客在使用露天烹饪设施时会存在潜在的危险，于是非常照顾我们，保护我们的安全。我们一起准备食物，烹饪食物，然后品尝食物，整个过程既美味又有趣。我强烈推荐这个烹饪课程，在旅游旺季，这是个非常受欢迎的活动。

Hi Andyinbk, thanks for your terrific review! We especially love it that you weren't too keen to start with, but we managed to win you over. We know not everyone is interested in cooking, but we pride ourselves on catering to a range of interests. The regular class that you joined is a fun, informative day for visitors interested in learning more about Lao culture, and some interesting cooking techniques. We also offer Master Classes, for more experienced chefs, or those who are keen to delve a bit deeper, and a Family Class for groups with young ones. Enjoy your Lao cooking back home!

地理位置很美，老师又善良又有才华，饭菜也很好吃。他们把我的行李存放在餐厅，满足了我的素食需求，而且井然有序。这是一个规模不错的团队，这顿饭是我在旅行中吃过的最好的一顿！会推荐给团体和个人旅行者（包括素食者！）

美妙的体验!这门课是在湖边的厨房里举行的，通常都是在户外的篝火上完成的。这是一种有趣的、与来自各地的伴侣的良好关系。我们学会了烹饪一些令人惊叹的、困难的、老挝菜和(最好的部分)在最后享受了名副其实的盛宴。很有价值，很有趣。我们留下了详细的食谱。

我们选择了晚上的烹饪班，觉得非常棒、很喜欢。烹饪班的老师很有风趣、也非常的知识渊博，而且还有照顾到素食的学生们。他还向我们解释了回家后也可以使用的其他的食材/烹饪方法。在课程结束后，我们还收到了一本食谱。这家烹饪学校是在镇外的，而且是在池塘边上，所以如果你也是上晚上的课的话记得要喷驱蚊液。我们做了四道菜，然后坐下来享受了一顿美餐，还吃到了额外的三道菜。

从最开始就是顶级服务。很舒服的乘坐着巴士去市场，欣赏了一下周围的美景，还试吃了一些美味的食物。Sit先生是一个很好的解说者，很清晰地用很棒的英语向我们解说。有趣的一天，学到了很多。食物很好吃。对美妙的一天来说价格很值得。感谢所有参与的员工。

我和我的同事把学生带学生从泰国来这里旅行，我们在到达老挝之前就可以预订并整理好一切，这是非常方便的。烹饪学校的设施是惊人的，这就是这个特殊的学校如此特殊的原因。工作人员很有趣，知识渊博，他们让我们的学生得到了完美的关注。我们做的每一道菜都非常美味可口，这都要感谢工作人员的精心指导和一贯的支持。我们有一个13人的私人班，这是一个完美的班级。在一天结束的时候，每个人都可以坐在睡莲池塘旁边，吃他们做的每一道菜；这是一个伟大的结束。非常值，如此丰富的信息和如此难忘的经历，肯定会再次这样做。

我16岁的女儿和我昨晚参加了这个课程——我不知道这个课程需要大约20分钟车程到农村,但12人搭乘提供的嘟嘟车到了，我们到达一个非常酷的场地,这是郁郁葱葱的和美丽的。老师西特和他的助手很专业、知识丰富、任务和友好的。同学来自美国、澳大利亚、韩国和英国，这是一个不错的夜晚,最后我们用了个美妙的晚餐和充足的食物。我们很喜欢这，绝对建议参加。人均只有25美元，非常物有所值。我们在8:30回到镇上,很快乐和充实。谢谢你!

查到这家厨艺学校排名第一于是特意来报名，很可惜没有赶上上午的课程，因为上午的课程是包括带着去早市选购食材采购回来的，其实这个更有趣啊可以认识很多种当地或者东南亚特有的食材和香料。tuktuk开了20多分钟进山才到，我们到的时候大概下午4点多，很幽静，有个很美的莲花池，最后吃饭就是在这个池畔。老师Sit是个很可爱的大男孩儿，幽默风趣的讲解和实操过程，我们好像学了4-5个菜的样子，过程很好玩也很有趣，还可以品尝他们的紫米酒，很好喝！最后就是大家坐下来一起进餐，除了我们自己制作的食物，还提供了老挝沙拉、炒菜和龙眼、tamarind果子，这些水果让没见过的欧美人很摸不着头脑啊！最后还提供了菜谱。其实老挝菜和泰北菜有点儿像，我在泰国也上过厨艺课，这家的课程设置安排以及教学让我很满意。
tips:晚间课程记得带个外套以及驱蚊液！

We will be visiting at the end of November. We would love to do a cooking class but will have three children with us. Ages 8y 5y and 11months old. Is it possible to take the class if we have children with us?

Hello klove, last year we started running private family cooking classes, aimed at families just like yours. We have full details and a booking form on our website (which I can't link to here). Shorter, fewer 'dangers', and less tiring for young kids than our regular classes. Interesting dishes that appeal to a range of palates, while still introducing you to the flavours and customs of Laos. Two teachers to guide and assist you. For kids under three years we'll have to make some special arrangements, but we have some suggestions for how we can do that. Hope to see you soon!

Hi Kurian, I'm afraid we don't. Lao people don't really eat desserts in the same way other nationalities do. However, there are plenty of sweet treats to try as you're wandering around the markets!

Hopefully you dropped in or called the restaurant directly to book a place in the class. If not, it is always worth coming to the restaurant at 8.30-8.45 on the day you are interested in joining the class, in case there is a free spot or cancellation. Enjoy your stay in Luang Prabang!

Hello Lila, our daytime class costs 285,000 kip per person, which is just over US$35 at the moment. Our evening classes cost 215,000 kip (US$26). This cost applies to your teenagers as well. The class is conducted in English, and for their enjoyment they would need to have a decent level of fluency. We have a booking form on our website, and we are happy to answer any questions that are submitted there. Enjoy your trip!

Hi Nathalie, yes, we can generally accommodate any dietary requirements in the cooking classes. We get vegetarians almost daily, and some vegans. Lao food is not at all vegetarian, usually, but we offer a number of substitutions to accommodate different tastes and needs. All you need to do is let us know when you book, and we'll check again at the beginning of the class. We look forward to seeing you!

Sie können direkt über unsere website buchen. (siehe link auf unserer TripAdvisor website - ich kann es hier nicht schreiben). Sie können uns auch kontaktieren, wenn sie in der Stadt sind, entweder indem sie von ihrem hotel anrufen, oder fallen sie ein, um uns zu sehen. ssen werden nur in englischer sprache durchgeführt. Hi Sanfrankate. You can't sign up for a cooking class via TripAdvisor. But please drop by the restaurant for last minute bookings, or call our Front of House staff by phone. They will let you know cooking class availability. For bookings further in advance, we have a booking form on our website.

Hi Linda, the daytime cooking class costs 285,000 kip, which at current rates is US$35.63. The shorter evening class is 215,000 kip (US$26.88). We don't accept Australian dollars, but Suesue is right, that's around AUD$50 daytime, and AUD$38. You can also pay by visa or mastercard, which incurs a 3% bank charge.
