This may appear to be just a bowling alley, but it’s the only place you can get a drink after 2330 each night. This is the subtle hub of the young community of Luang Prabang.
The drinks are cheap and the atmosphere is more like a club, fantastic venue.

My daughter was at the bowling alley with friends last night and had a great time.
She decided to leave and got a tuk tuk outside.
The driver then took her in the wrong direction of her hostel and robbed her of her money and I phone and dumped her out of town.
Luckily she was unhurt but very shaken by the experience.
Please do not travel alone on tuk tuks at night

The alley itself isn’t amazing, it’s just great because it’s the only place in the town open after 11:30 so everyone meets there. The drinks are reasonable and the alleys are definitely adequate. It’s a good place to meet people once you’re buzzed.

My older teenage son saw the reviews and decided that our family of 5 should go. Sooo glad we did,great fun. Delivered by Tuk tuk to a dimly lit road but soon found the bowling ally,paid for 2 games and spent $10 on a bottle of vodka and a few lemonades to dilute it. Music was great, our bowling was variable and it was a great night.We all tried the archery after and then they drove us back to our hotel in the Bowling Ally tuk tuk.recommend.

If this was a bowling alley in any western country it would be avoided however when brought to a Bowling alley in Luang Prabang, Laos, the expectations tend to be a little lower. This is a gem, and with a good crew can be one of the most memorable nights of your life, let alone trip. To buy a bottle of vodka and some mixers, play a round or two of bowling and then stumble over to the archery range and shoot some targets makes for such a surreal experience. Not to mention the array of foreigners, travelers, and locals alike make for great people watching. Overall a must do while in Luang Prabang!

I was quite not really for going there. Some reviews on TripAdvisor were quite scary. We paid 20,000 from downtown to go there (honest-ish). We played twice archery (5 arrows for 10,000) It was fine. Then we played bowling with beers (15,000 big bottle and 20,000 per person ) its fun. Forgot to mention, we arrived at 10:45 and it was empty, then at 11:30 ... ... hordes of younglins by grapes (french expression) 25/27 yo. Nothing crazy but the partay started. We left after our second play with the same driver for the same price (lucky us).

So this place opens around the same time everything else shuts. If you go with an open mind, a bunch of people and a desire to drink a few beers then this place can result in a good night. Bowling is obviously the main activity but you can also try your hand at archery as well. With very little night life in Luang Prabang, this could be your best bet for a late one!

Came here to finish a night out and had a great time. Fun, loud atmosphere and the only place in the city open late to drink! Although tenpin bowling and archery which is located outside are not the safest activities whilst intoxicated made for some great memories! So fair warning still be careful and look after your friends if you go.

So it all begins around 10pm with you throwing your tipsy self into a tuk tuk that transports you there. You can bowl or do archery!
The toilets are absolutely disgusting. In saying this, perhaps it's open during the day and they never clean it. When I went, there was vomit on the floor of two of the female toilets and all of the toilets had ants in them. Byo wipes.
The cost to play is cheap, I think 10000 kip per person. There is food there, usually a pizza stall or packets of chips. You buy beer bottles or whole bottles of spirits to mix with soft drink. The bottle of vodka was 20000 kip. Super cheap! The actual bowling was lots of fun. This is definitely a must try simply so you have stories to tell after!

Had heard about the whole bowling thing in Luang Prabang so decided to check it out. Wasn't what I expected at all. Jump in a tuk tuk with anyone, the more there are, the cheaper it will be. Get driven to a bowling alley in the middle of nowhere. Good fun with a mix of tourists and locals. Also archery available.
