While I had views of the canal from several vantage points, and even walked beside it on either side, realized how much a water element means to this wonderful city in the desert!

This is a beautiful part of Dubai.
The canal is lined with amazing buildings and crossed with stunning bridges. There are wide walkways and bike tracks on either side of the canal.
There are a large number of restaurants, cafes and bars to check out.
Also great to sail down.

An area in full development, beautiful for a walk in the evening. It is being built massively, so it will become much more beautiful when the constructions will be finished and the cranes will disappear from the landscape.
There are several embankments on the route, only one is active, the one called "Sheikh Zayed Marine Road Transport Station 74", and this one with restrictions, in the sense that the ships makes the trip on the canal only if a minimum number of passengers gathers (6, if I remember correctly remember...).

The water canal is a calming place where you can stroll along its bank at your leisure. There’s quite a few benches on the walkway allowing you to stop and chill out. We purposely went there to see the colour waterfall that cascades down off of the bridge into the canal. There are lots of coloured lights on the side of the bridge that give the illusion the water is coloured when flowing. Unfortunately it only changed to purple whilst we were there, but pictures I’ve seen online show multiple colours. It was a nice trip out but there’s many better things to do with your time

Perfect place whether you're biking, walking, or running, you'll love the vibrant atmosphere with people engaging in various activities. The crossing bridges offer stunning views of the Downtown area, and the 6 km route between Downtown and Jumeirah is ideal for biking or running. Water stations available too the best part is, you can engage in sports without worrying about traffic, making it a safe and convenient choice. Plus, there are Careem bike stations for those looking to rent an electric bike and enjoy a quick trip along the canal!

This are is great for some active fun! There is always other people biking, walking or running, so the environment is nice. You can also get a nice view of the Downtown are from the crossing bridges. It is a perfect biking or running route between the Downtown and Jumeirah as it’s around 6 km away. There are even water stations to fill up your water bottle. You can do some sports without having to worry about the traffic. There are also multiple Careem bike stations for those that want to rent an electric bike and take a quick trip.

As the sun begins to set, the Dubai Canal comes alive with a kaleidoscope of colors. The surrounding buildings and bridges are illuminated, casting a radiant glow over the water, creating a magical atmosphere. This is a beautiful area of Dubai.
The canal goes through Business Bay down to the sea at Jumeira and links into the natural Dubai Creek at the other end.
There are some phenomenal buildings lining the canal and impressive bridges over the water. There is also a waterfall next to the JW Marriott hotel.
It is a great place to walk, run, cycle (there are bike paths on either side) or sit in one of the many restaurants and cafes to take in the world. It is also lovely to enjoy a cruise on the water.

Wir sind am Jumeirah Beach gestartet und in der Business Bay wieder in die Metro gestiegen ( insgesamt 6 km Fußweg)
Es ist ein wunderschöner Boardwalk auf beiden Seiten des Canals angelegt worden….man kann dort super entlang gehen, Fahrrad oder Scooter fahren, sitzen und schauen und dabei sein Handy zu laden. Wo gibt es das bei uns 😂
Durch die unterschiedlich konstruierten Brücken kann man schnell auf die andere Seite wechseln.
Im Moment ist noch eine rege Bautätigkeit am Canal, es werden viele neue Wohnmöglichkeiten geschaffen. Trotzdem fanden wir es schön, mal ungezwungen mit wunderschönem Blick auf die Skyline dort entlang zu flanieren.

Hallo Christian, von wo startet da eine Tour zu dem Wasserfall und was dauert/kostet sowas? Wir wollen möglichst nicht auf so eine große Dhau sondern lieber etwas kleiner mit einem Abra wenn möglich...

The best opcion to visit is navigatiion the Canal. Nice View! By bike could be difiicult, Dubai is not bike/Walk friendly.
