Nice but small

Located in Jumeirah, easy to access, cosy and small but not with many shops. You can go for very basics. Spinneys inside.

Very cute mall, not too crowded

I love going to Mercato. It’s a traditional mall but with really cute design and architecture. One of my favourite things about it is it is very chill and not overwhelming. It might be on the smaller side for Dubai but there’s still a good variety of stores and cafes. There’s usually enough parking underground but there’s free overflow parking outside as well.

High Level and small but excellent

Nice and small Mall with a very selected number of shops. Not as crowded as the other malls, but well maintained and easy to reach. Go there, if you want to see selected shops and good restaurants. All in an italian style and names of the different areas in there.

Stylish Italian style mall

This is a relatively small mall but with a good array of retail and food and beverage outlets, plus a good sized Spinneys and cinema.

The main atrium is Italian themed and very light. It is particularly pleasant at Christmas.

There is plenty of parking.

“Slow shopping” experience

Dubai is all about shopping. January is the month of the Dubai Shopping Festival. If you find yourself in the Dubai Mall, you’ll experience shopping madness with thousands of people, traffic jams in the arrival and departure etc...

Mercato is different. I would call it “slow shopping” experience. It is not that big and crowded. It doesn’t mean you cannot buy nice stuff there. There are plenty of shopping opportunities.

Moreover, there are several places where you can grab a bite. Some really tasty stuff.

All in all, shopping without anxiety and the need of a map.
