Activity Duration: Picnic, Barbecue, or just lie around. From 1 hour to half a day.
Ratings: 7/10 (Tourists can club this park with Dolphinarium)
UAE is a desert country, but you have to drive away from the cities to actually see the desert. Amidst the never-ending puzzle of zigzagging roads and towering skyscrapers, you can find some beautiful (and mostly huge) public parks, constructed by Dubai Parks Authorities. A big thumbs up to the Government for first conceptualizing and developing these parks and then maintaining them in these harsh climates in an immaculate manner. Now here are my 5-Pointers on some of the best Dubai parks. Dubai might not have a Central Park like New York, but there are many alternatives in different areas for some fun-filled picnics. (These parks might not be big enough attractions for tourists, but they are sure shot life savers for the residents)
1. The Good: Well-maintained grassy lawns. Tick. The breeze from Creek. Tick. Walk along the sea. Tick. Children's play area. Tick. Barbecue. Tick. Attraction=Dolphinarium. Tick. Some cute bicycles and buggies to ride around the park. Tick
2. The Not-So-Good: Some entry points are closed. And walking from one gate to another is really a hassle. Plus NOL card top ups not available on all gates. Need to address this issue as it is very very inconvenient.
3. The WoW factor: Huge area. Well Maintained. Lots of play areas for kids. Creek view is a plus.
4. Money Matters: 5 AED per person. Well worth it.
5. The 5-point Experience: Dubai Park Authorities needs to be given big kudos for creating such places for the common public. You never run out of options for weekend outings in Dubai and this park is one such place. Huge place with a lot of options. We hired the small family vehicle (buggy that works like a bicycle) to drive around the park and that was super fun.
My Verdict: Just come here and have fun.

Alongside Dubai creek there is this sizeable park (2km in length) with green spaces, trees and trails. Many families with children visit, as there is a playground and an option for barbecues. For the peace and quiet seeker there are the more far away corners.
The nearest metro station is Oud Mehta, a 15-minute walk away. Most visitors arrive and leave by car, as there are parking lots at the major gates.
Entrance fee 5 dirham (payable with NOL card).
Extra fees for additional attractions.

My favourite place to spend time with family and enjoy a joy ride electric scooter. This place has lot of fresh air n greenery. Very clean and beautiful place to take pictures.
I recommend to everyone to relax here for weekends. Thank you Dubai 😊 💓

It's all in one destination for Barbeque + dolphinarium + bird show + picnic + beach
Entry fee of 5dhs is charged. You can use your NOL card too. Plan and reach early to get the right place to enjoy all of these activities. Dolphinarium, children's city and bird show can be a little pricy (additional) but its worth al least once!

If you want to rewind and relax come to this park. It is vast, has a dolphin 🐬 arena and bird show.

We spent sometime at the Creekside Park post watching the Dolphin show. The place is really big very well maintained. We can small day picnics spend quality time with friends & family. It also provides a nice view of the creek. We even saw a small seaplane takeoff land in the creek. .

Es un parque limpio, organizado, donde se pueden hacer diferentes actividades, barbacoas, montar en carritos, sentarse y disfrutar el paisaje!

We used NOL card to enter the park.
Very nice big park.
Inside it there is the dolphins show and the children’s city .each has its Own entry fees .
Park is over looking a creek , very relaxing view .
U can bring ur food 🥘 with u and spend the whole day.
There r some slide and swings for free .
There is a kids park but u ve to pay for each ride.
Bicycle 🚲 for rent range from 50-100 aed / bike .
Children’s city in my opinion is suitable for kids above 8 years , my daughter is 5 years and wasn’t interested in it and didn’t like it ..children’s city has a lot todo there for big kids and a lot to learn ..
Used the entertainer application in the dolphin 🐬 show. F seats not good view .

One particular instant today had discouraged me from visiting the park anymore.
My daughter of 2 year age was ill today and she had upset stomach. She cried a lot and had to go the wash room when my wife took her to Ladies washroom # 07 near the barbaque area. They were not allowed to enter into the washroom by a cleaning lady even after informing the situation for my daughter and started shouting to my wife at the first instant where my baby got afraid and had to go through an emergency situation to pass through. As soon as my baby and wife had the chance to enter, my baby passed her stool in loose form which had fallen a little on the floor. Even though my wife forced water on the floor and cleaned the fallen parts through the drain, the cleaner lady got angry and suddenly closed the door with my wife inside and threatened my wife to clean the floor with her mop and wiper or else she will not allow my wife and daughter out. Tensed in the situation, my wife did what she asked with the cleaners wiper, when my baby was already crying being scared hearing the shouting from the cleaner lady. After coming out, a little away from the same wash room, some Dubai Municipality lady came to my wife and simply said not to repeat this- even without enquiring what happened.
I came to gate and got the park supervisor number to inform what happened. Over the phone when I spoke to a lady, first I was said that a supervisor will come to meet me and asked me to wait and I Waited for over 20 minutes and nobody came. The same dubai municipality lady passed by the gate where I stopped her to inform the incident when she even didn't care to attend the situation and asked me to walk al the way to gate 3 to meet the supervisor.
I called the supervisor number and I was spoken in a harsh way to go to gate 3 to raise any complain, where she had forgotten that I was asked to wait 20 minutes back at that place.
I had my old parents and a sick daughter with me which I had to take Them at the earliest and I moved from there.
My concern is, being a customer of the park, how can a cleaner lady hand over the mop and wiper to my wife to clean the wash room. As much as I understand, it's her job to do the cleaning for the washroom, regardless of even if she had just done it..... need to realize that my daughter was ill and my wife had already drained the fallen stool through the washroom drain and the cleaner lady was upset because the washroom floor got wet again.
And also another concern is that no supervisor from the park was responsible to attend the concern that I raised at the park gate and the supervisor lady that I met was not attentive to what I said her.....

There are many activities in the park, aside from the 'nature' activities that most public parks offer. There are fishing areas, barbeque areas, children's play areas, a massive Children's City amusement zone inside as well. On weekends they sometimes have entertainment events and activities geared towards families, always call in advance.
What's the best form of transport to get to the park? Is there an entrance fee?

Taxi, most easiest way to get there.. also pretty easy to get taxi away from there. notice, its quite wide area...
