Great picnic spot. Under a shaded palm beside the lake we set up our BBQ. wonderful wild life including black geese, flamingos and wallabies. A light breeze coming across the lake made it a perfect place to rest.

One would not imagine that there could be so much life in the UAE desert. Everytime I head out to the Al Qudra desert I see something new from Birds, Hedgehogs, Oryx, Vultures.
It's a great escape from the city life and its only 30 mins outside Dubai
Definitely a must for any birding or mammal enthusiast

It is a beautiful wild animal reserve that has been artificially constructed. However, there is a certain charm in driving between the different bodies of water to look for different species of birds. Blackbirds, white or gray herons, pink flamingos, and all other species are preserved here. A little further into the desert, possibility of seeing camels and wild gazelles (a must do, especially at sunset)

Al Qudra Lake is an amazing spot for camping and BBQ with friends! We had such a great time there. The best part was being able to see some animals and birds in their natural habitat. It created a unique and immersive experience. The evening was lovely, with soothing nature sounds surrounding us.
What's great about Al Qudra Lake is that even though there were a few other groups around, it didn't feel too crowded. We had our own space to enjoy and relax. The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying quality time with friends.

Al Qudra Lake is a hidden gem that provides the perfect escape for relaxation after a hectic week. We went there for Suhoor during Ramadan and we all brought our food with us and had a very cute picnic with a big group. We were singing and playing guitar by the fire and roasting marshmallows and it was such a good time. I wouldn’t recommend coming here without a car though, as you will struggle to find a bathroom and will need to drive back to the nearest gas station (5 minute drive).

Visited Al Qudra Lake during the morning desert safari, we had our breakfast by the lake. It is a beautiful lake, in the desert one can sight some rare animals. Good place for nature lovers.

Amazing place with wonderful sunrise and sunset experience in the nature environment.
Hundreds of birds species made this area their home - so, please be careful when driving in the radius of 10km around of the lakes (use lower speed). Some of the birds especially little ones are very curious and they are flying close to the fast moving cars. Also they don't bother escaping from approaching car well in advance...
That can causes the incident of the car hitting birds which is really sad.
Be careful when driving and help to save the nature!

Pretty good place to renew your energy after a long week of work. The only downside is there’s no toilet nearby al qudra lake but in love lake there is.

There is not such list officially but places know not much in Al qudr a you can in some places were it's allowed, mamzar park there is place for BBQ, jabal ali open beach as well some area they allow to BBQ, Al mushref park has places for BBQ rest will share after
