Reñaca is a small beach but comfortable and friendly and quiet. Many young people surfing and families enjoying the sand and sun. There are not many places of gasconomics unfortunately to enjoy a good breakfast or meal

Playa Reñaca is beautiful, with its thick and golden sands and a stunning landscape. I went into the cold water, but it's very violent and dangerous for those who venture deeper. An ideal place to enjoy the view and enjoy the beach with caution.

I travel a lot, and I am not scared easily. I have very flexible standards regarding accommodation, clean, and safety I live in New York. I have traveled solo to over 50 countries.
I have never been as scared of public surroundings as I was in Valparaiso. Decrepit, filthy, rundown, dangerous. I have never been any place where I was warmed by nearly everyone I met about what not to do what corner not to go to , what stairs not to take or not to take where not to stand where not to walk. I strongly recommend giving this entire city a pass, unfortunately.

Renaca beach at the start of spring is still a great place to be able to enjoy the early days of warmth as the season progresses. The beach is clean, but the currents in the sea need to be heeded, as can be strong for weaker swimmers. The water is also extremely cold coming up from Antarctica.
The beach side restaurants are OK, plenty of them, but the service can be a bit hit and miss. Wifi is only available in one or two, despite the signs up suggesting free wife - it's not available. Coffee and cake can be really expensive, up to $7,000 which is frankly ridiculous.
Worth a stroll along as far as the Seal Rock, where the sea-lions are resident all year round I think. Very noisy and smelly but great to see the wildlife being given a safe haven to reside. You can't access the beach where the sea lions are based, but you can stand and view them from the sea wall, and they do play close to the beach closest to Concon.
If you walk a bit further round towards Concon, Cochoa beach is also great for bird spotting, next to the University of Oceanography (?) or Marine Studies (can't remember the exact name). Whales are also visible occasionally a bitfurther out to see on.
Renaca town centre is not as picturesque as the beach. Will review separately.

We went to the beach, highly recommended...it is very wide...in some areas they rent umbrellas and lounge chairs, the sea is a little rough...it's kind of on the way down...but if you go near the shore is perfect...beautiful and unforgettable sunsets (highly recommended), there are many services in the area

There is no way to describe the best beach in the region. Clean, well-kept and with good services. Parking is difficult. Very rough sea.

Beautiful beach for a walk, walk, sunbathe and admire the view. You can't go into the water, it's too cold! It's not cold, it's really cold. There are many food options, ice cream, coffee, beautiful place.

Es una playa bonita y bastante limpia, es agradable para despejar un rato la mente. El punto negativo es que al ser una playa urbana pública, cualquier cosa se podría ver.

Tenes colectivos ,taxis, remis o uber. Todos van a Reñaca desde Santiago de Chile. Estan aprox unos $2000/$3000 argentinos por personas y son unos 130km aprox, unas casi 2hs de viaje depende el trafico. Sale mas barato alquilar un auto para ir desde santiago y volver, dejandolo en el aeropuerto.
Un remis cuesta 85000cl de santiago a viña del mar.

Hola! si , efectivamente las mañanas y ya en las tardes es bastante frio sobre todo para los niños pequeños. Un poleron va mas que bien, a menos que salga viento te serviria una chaqueta pero no invernal.

Yo fui en Enero el agua de reñaca es fría no tanto más que la de la costa bonaerense aun así es imperdible. Agua turquesa, playas de arena dorada y el pueblo muy lindo.
