Hi, I wanted to get a little more understanding on the evening food tour. I read the reviews and it sounds great. My husband and I would like to do it but I am not a big fan of eating bugs, crocodile, snakes etc, my husband however is different and is adventurous when it comes to food. So we still are keen in signing up for this tour. Since its a little on the expensive side I want to know how much of the exotic food will be served (especially in my case) since I wont be eating any of it. I will stick to the regular local food. I dont drink that much so just want to know if its worth the price for me?
Dear Merle (?),
In answer to your questions, our Siem Reap After Dark Tour is designed to give an insight into the evening offerings of this fantastic little town. We bring together some of the town's best eating and drinking spots, combining our favourite local and expat spots to give an overview of Siem Reap's culinary and social activities.
We sip fine cocktails and craft beers, sample local delicacies, try exotic fruits and experiment with an assortment of fried insects. The "experimental" food element is only a small part of the tour, so for those who prefer to observe, rather than sample, it will not affect your enjoyment of the evening. We cater for vegans, flexitarians and carnivors. The price tag may appear a little high before you experience the tour, but we offer a free-flow of alcoholic and soft drinks, as much food as you can eat, a fun interactive evening and safety and comfort. Each guest has their own fully trained driver and each group (max size 7 people) has a professional guide. Unlike our competitors, we have insurance for our guests, our guides are First Aid certified and we carry First Aid kits on all tours.
We take singles, couples and families. So come join us for "The Ride of your Life!"
