Very happy I decided to book a two day tour with Affinity instead of wondering around aimlessly by myself! My guide Sam was extremely knowledgable, and I loved how much he was able to explain about the past and meaning of the temples, both regarding Buddhism and Hinduism. Sam is funny and had a very animated way of explaining and telling stories, which made it easy to be attentive for many hours and still want to see more. He made a good team with driver Long who was very friendly and always checked in if I still had enough water or needed anything else. Would definitely recommend Affinity and this team!

My husband, sister-in-law and myself did the 3-day tour with the Mount Kulen option. Our guide Kim and driver Tay were amazingly friendly and helpful. The tour was fully customizable and we discussed the plan for the day and even made some small changes as we went dependent on time, etc. Both spoke English very well and joked with us and made it a great couple of days. Kim’s iPhone photography skills are also amazing - he knew of all the right places to lose for fun pics and has mastered a few iPhone hacks to get the best shots. We had Kim and Tay take us to Mount Kulen on day 2 to break up the temple visits and would highly recommend that order. Would absolutely recommend this company to anyone looking for a jam packed visit with a personal touch!

Our guide (Sam) couldn’t have given us a better tour of the temples. His knowledge of the temples and its history was mind blowing !
He is also hilarious and we laughed all day. The driver and A/C were perfect in the burning heat. They arrived early at the hotel to pick us up and didn’t rush us at all during the whole day. We were able to experience it all 100%.
We did the main temples then went to see the sunset on the hill.
We couldn’t have seen the temples in a better way - thank you so much Sam !

We had a wonderful 5 day stay in Siem Reap and we owe this very much to Affinity Angkor and our guide, Sopheara. We especially appreciated:
-quick and easy communication by email, prior to our visit, to define our schedule and deal with practical aspects (30% payment on booking,
e-visas and Angkor tourist pass)
-Sopheara, our guide, was a fantastic guy we highly recommend. He could explain all about the ancient Khmer civilization as well as comment on modern Cambodia. All this with loads of humour and a cheerfulness that made our trip memorable.
-The 3 day visit (1st day: long loop with Bantay Srei, etc...; 2nd day: short loop with Angkor Wat, Bayon, Baphuon and Ta Prohm; 3rd day: Kulen Mountain) gave us a superb overview.
-Getting back to the car after each visit was great to freshen up with some lemongrass-scented towels and get some cold water. Hotel pick-up was always timely and driving cautious and smooth.
-On the last day, we decided to buy a bronze statue as a souvenir and Sopheara brought us to a specialized warehouse with plenty of choice, which saved us much time compared to having to roam the downtown retail stores.
We had initially picked up a large travel agency operating in Cambodia, Vietnam and Laos, recommended in a well-known guidebook but Affinity Angkor proved to be more responsive, more consistent in their answers and a better quality/price ratio.
We can only add our very positive comment to the already long
list below.

We booked a tour cia the tour organizer which was super nice and helpful. Kim, our guide and Long our driver were just perfect. Kim's knowledge about the temples and Cambodia's history is amazing. He is also very kind and has very good English. Long the driver took good care of us by supplying us with cold lemongrass scented towels and cold water which were a life savers in the heat. Honestly it's so thoughtful of them. Kim also has some photography experience and he gave us many tips on how to produce the beat photos. These are just a few of many examples where they knew better than us what we need, how to prepare and where to go. This really made a difference for us, and without them, our experience wouldn't be as good. Really they are most recommended! There is no substitute for field and practical work experience and these guys deliver just that.

We just spent the last four days visiting a variety of temples. Our guide Tay and driver were fantastic, and Tay was extremely knowledgeable. The car was extremely clean, with plenty of cold water supplied, beautiful cold lemongrass towels for when you come back from exploring, and snacks supplied. Our favourite day was when we visited Beng Melea and Kosh Ker, though the other temples were still great. The other highlight of our tour was Kulem Mountain visiting the waterfalls. Highly recommend this tour group as they were able to customise the tour to suit us.

We were given the most wonderful tour by our guide Kim and driver Sopheak. The vehicle was clean, and comfortable, we were provided with cold water on each return to the van. Kim’s tour was both informative and entertaining. We felt like he took great pride and care in showing us the best of the sights, the best photo opportunities, all whilst never stopping the stream of information about the incredible depth of history and culture that is within the Angkor Wat archaeological site.
The booking process was easy, and they were accommodating of a fairly last-minute change of date. I can’t recommend Affinity Angkor highly enough!

We got a private, one day tour which included a driver and guide to show us around, it was an incredible experience. The tour guide and driver were both very professional, well spoken and very knowledgeable as we explored Angkor Wat and it's surrounding temples. We learned a lot about the temple's history and the cultural significance. The guide was able to answer every question we had without failure and he was more than eager to stop and help take pictures of us at scenic spots. We were able to tackle it all at our own pace and were provided with plenty of cold, refreshing water, which was much needed. A nice touch was the cold towels the provided which really helped cool us down between temples. I mentioned when arranging our tour that one of our group members often suffers from a bad stomach and asked if the guide could make us aware of any bathrooms nearby. They were very accommodating and helpful with our request and made sure we were comfortable at all times. At the end of the trip we asked if they knew anywhere we could buy some postcards to bring back with us and they were kind enough to drive us around town looking for a shop that sold them before dropping us off back at the hotel. Can't thank the team enough for our visit and HIGHLY recommend them for anyone looking to visit Angkor Wat.

My wife and I had visited Angkor previously. However, as we were visiting this time as a family, we wanted the experience of a personalised guided tour both to get a better understanding of the history of the temples and for our daughter to have a fun and unforgettable experience. We were not disappointed! Mr Sopheara is an extremely knowledgeable guide and taught us an incredible amount about Angkor's history, culture and uses of each of the temples. He was also incredibly flexible, allowing us to completely design our own schedule and itinerary: he was a fountain of knowledge, providing suggestions of where to go based on what we wanted to see. We ended our day at Angkor Wat at dusk, which concluded a truly memorable day. We would wholeheartedly recommend Affinity and Mr Sopheara to anyone wishing to visit the Angkor complex.

I would like to share my utmost appreciation to the amazing experience my family and I had with Sopheara with Affinity Angkor being our tour guide throughout Siem Reip. First off, Sopheara has a wealth of knowledge about the ancient ruins, the country of Cambodia, the wonderful culture, Buddhism and Hinduism, and so much more. It is one thing to have the knowledge but it’s also very refreshing to share it all in a way to be easily understood. Sopheara also knows the English language so well, that it was easy to understand him.
Along with his knowledge, Sopheara is simply an incredible individual. He is passionate about what he is sharing. He has an authentic faith that is attractive and made me want to learn more about Buddhism. His warmth is sincere and infectious.
He read us well and did a fantastic job in showing us things that we were interested in. Nothing was ever too drawn out or ever got boring.
Finally, he went out of his way even after our tour ended. The next morning as we were leaving the hotel for the airport, he came by to say goodbye and wish us well.
I can’t image having a better tour guide. Anyone would be fortunate to have a similar experience as we did. I could recommend him more!
