D.D. Mhuek Travel & Tour bör undvikas. Vi bokade en resa till Cambodja för att se Angkor Wat med tre övernattningar genom en "travel agent" i Koh Chang, säljaren var trevlig och berättade att det vara en fantastisk bra resa. Vi skulle åka minibuss till gränsen och sedan blev det en privat taxi. Under vistelsen i Siem Reap skulle vi full pension (3 måltider och vatten till maten) och bo på ett 4 stjärnigt hotell, vi skulle få en egen guide och bli transporterad till de olika aktiviteterna i privat bil med chaufför. Inte mycket stämde! Vi åkte minibuss till gränsen och där fick vi en spartansk lunch, ris med några strimmor kyckling i och en flaska vatten. Vi fick sedan gå över gränsen och genom passkontroll. Blev därefter hämtade av en minibuss som tog oss till hotellet. Hotellet hade nog varit fint en gång, det var byggt i gammal stil 1999 men slitet och rummen var dammiga. Badrummet mycket slitet och i rummet fanns väldigt mycket mygg. På hotellet träffade vi vår privata guide, som var trevlig han följde oss till restaurangen på kvällen. Vi fick äta ihop med ett annat par. Det ingick inget vatten och vi hade inte några dollar så det kostade ett par dollar extra genom att vi betalade med kreditkort. Dagen efter var det sightseeing, vi åkte till sjö, där vi steg på en båt och fick en rundtur. När vi och det andra paret steg ur båten som körts av en kille ombads vi lämna dricks. Vi hade inga dollar men det andra paret hade 5 dollar som de gav båtföraren. Utflykterna var trevliga och guiden var kunnig. Dagen efter såg vi Angkor Wat vilket också var bra. De måltider som ingick i vårt all inklusive var inte väl tilltagna, kanske anpassade för cambodjaner men inte europeer. Vatten som skulle varit gratis fick vi betala. I hotellkorridoren sprang en råtta omkring en dag. Jag såg att kostnaden för hotellet genom booking låg på 192 kr per natt. Vi betalade mer än 3000 kr (19600 Tbath/person) för denna resa, minibuss fram och tillbaka, guide, utflykter, samt måltider (som var på ganska billiga restauranger. Hade vi tagit enbart bussen fram och tillbaka hade det gått på 2800 Tbath, då hade vi kunnat äta var vi ville och bo på ett bättre hotell. Resan från Siem Reap till gränsen var i en minibuss som var full, jag fick sitta på mittplats utan nackstöd och på ett säte som var avsett för ett barn eller en liten person (fick våldsamma ryggsmärtor efter 4 timmar i denna position).

Horrible, vol organisé !
Nous étions 4 (2 adultes et 2 enfants). Voyage très long (attente de plus d'une heure trente au départ puis plus de 4h à la frontière (temps nécessaire moins de 30min).
Et VOL de la part de la compagnie : un homme nous attendait à la descente du bus, nous demandant 42$ par personne pour le visa indiquant qu'il s'agit du tarif pour l'avoir le jour même. En rêvant le visa indiquait 30$, il nous a a nouveau menti. Puis en passant la frontière (seuls car il nous laisse à 5 min à pied) nous demandons aux officiers et le tarif était bien de 30$ (+100baths de frais soit environ 3$).
Nous avons donc perdu par ce VOL 36$ à 4 !!!
au Cambodge nous avons demandé notre remboursement avant de remonter dans le bus suivant, ils nous ont menti puis fui, nous indiquant qu'on pouvait attendre mais que le bus partirait sans nous !
Nous avons contacté l'agence par WhatsApp à notre arrivée à Siem Reap et le Vol Organisé à été confirmé par notre interlocuteur : on aurait pu nous demander plus !!!
Aucun remboursement possible évidemment....
A cela il faut ajouter que nous arrivons à 5km du centre (contrairement à ce qui était prévu dans le tarif du billet qui devait nous déposer au marché de nuit). Des tuk tuk nous attendent, soit disant compris dans le tarif mais une fois monté dedans il faut payer sinon ils nous déposent 2 km plus loin, il en reste encore 3 pour rejoindre le centre. Nous avons donc été laissé la nuit avec nos filles de 6 et 9 ans sur le bord de la route car nous refusions de payer un service qui nous était dû !

Ich habe die gleiche Erfahrung gemacht, wie hier schon mehrfach beschrieben. Auf Koh Chang ein Ticket bis Siem Reap gekauft - kurz vor der Grenze bei Poiphet, bog der Minivan in eine Seitenstrasse ab u hielt an einem Restaurant. Sofort waren 5 - 6 Mitarbeiter dieser Organisation vor Ort, haben angefangen Leute zu separieren, Visumsanträge auszuteilen und wollten die Pässe der Gäste. Als ich mich geweigert habe meinen herzugeben und nach einem plausiblen Grund gefragt habe, wurde ich von den zuvor übertrieben netten Herren, sofort angeschrien, warum ich nicht kooperativ sei. Ich habe wirklich versucht die Situation zu beruhigen, aber mir wurde gesagt, es sei ihr Bus und sie könnten entscheiden, wen sie weiter zur Grenze bringen. Es war nicht meine erste Reise nach Kambodscha, daher wusste ich über Visumspreis und Ablauf bescheid und wollte das so nicht akzeptieren. Nach mehrmaliger Aufforderung durch die netten Herren dieser Agentur, habe ich mich dann tatsächlich mit 2 Mitreisenden zu Fuss auf den Weg zur Grenze gemacht. Nach einigen kleinen Umwegen (deshalb mein Tip Maps.me od andere offline Karten zur Hand zu haben) haben wir nach knapp 45min die Grenze erreicht, wo die Aus- u Einreise ohne weitere Komplikationen in ca. 20min funktioniert hat. Auf der kambodschanischen Seite haben wir noch kurz nach einem lokalen Bus Ausschau gehalten, uns dann aber doch für ein Taxi entschieden, dass uns für 10usd pro Person weiter nach Siem Reap gebracht hat. Andere Mitfahrer des Minivans, die wir danach in Siem wiedergetrofffen haben, durften weitere 90usd für Transport u Visum bezahlen...... so eine Gemeinheit!!
Ich kann jedem nur dringend davon abraten, über diese Agentur zu buchen! Auch wenn 700thb auf den ersten Blick günstig erscheint, so eine Behandlung haben Touristen nicht verdient. Als alleinreisende Frau habe ich mich zum ersten Mal in vielen Jahren in Thailand nicht wohl gefühlt, da die Aggresivität und Dreisigkeit der Mitarbeiter dieser Agentur wirklich kuzzeitig beängstigend war.

Everything you read about the nightmare of getting from Koh Chang to Siem Reap is true! DD Mhuek is only the beginning - the worst of it is in Cambodia. Then there is the Visa scam restaurant where you are screamed at if you mention to anyone that getting at "visa on arrival" at the border is quick and easy and no need to pay double the cost to these "thugs"!! You waste a good few hours here.
They quickly tried to remove anyone who spoke up. It was funny and scary all at once.
Then once you arrive at some random mud-rutted dirt hole outside the city, the fun continues. The tuk-tuk into "city center" is included in your over-priced (BHT1000) ticket from Koh Chang. BUT, first they want you to agree to hire them for the next day. When you don't comply they say your tuk-tuk is no longer included. I was screamed at and even grabbed by the arm ( I am a middle-aged woman). It got scary. I just calmly repeated "take me to the city center", until they gave in and did it! Driver reeked of alcohol.
You cant blame or avoid any one part of it - they are all in on it. He screamed at us "these men need to work, we are a poor country!". What a way to solicit business!! They gave me such a horrible taste of this part of the world. I am here this morning still jittery from the experience, not sure if I can leave the room yet. Hope Cambodia gets better than this!!! Outright abuse that wouldnt be acceptable in a civilized country!!

We booked on Kho Chang. We asked several times in 2 days and the answer was:
Minibus to border, walk across the border and on the other site there is a Big Bus to Siem Reap. After aksing for the name of the big bus company they said Olymics.
The tour startet ok. Then after leaving the island the driver was driving really agressive, even for an asian bus driver. Through villiages, cats, dogs, children with over 100 km/h honking all the time and driving on the opposit site of the street.
But this ist not the worst thing.
Before booking a bus we read a lot horrible things about people who try to get you passport to sell yu expensive visas and so on. But we also heard that bus companies now protect their passengers, by giving them stickers and so on, so all the people can see you allrady have a bus...
So we were really shocked, when over own bus companie now was the problem. They stoped in a restaurant 1 km in front of the border, seperated all the people and wanted to have out passports
This was so strange and - as I learned before: never give someone your passport - I denied. They got very agressive!
They shouted we had to pay otherwhise they would not take u to Siem Reap or detailed: You will not find the bus on the other site.
I repeatet what I paied for but they got more and more agressive.
People from the other table hat the same problem, so in the end when we went away, we were a group of 6 people going by foot to the border.
Before we wnated to get our stickers back, because otherwhise we couldn t show on the other site, that we already payes because they took away our tickets at the pick up.
We were walking across the border. Don t have to tell you more about the corruption there. On the other site it was a 2 hours fight not to get in a trap of all the nappers there.
In the end we got towards Siem Reap, somehow but not with Olympics, not with a Big Bus.
They seem to have a monopol at Kho Chang, so if you book a trip anywhere at the island, you will always get in the arms of this company. So beware and maybe have your return ticket to Bangkok with Boonsiri ore someone else before.
Never never never again!

Everything went well until we arrived at the border. The bus stopped before the border (maybe 500m far) and people ask you 50 USD to make your visa. We knew we could do it on our own for 30 USD so we said no. The man from the company started yelling at us that we need to trust him blabla and if we are going at the border on our own he won't wait for us on the other side of the border... so we had to give up.
Then, at the border people from the company almost forced us to take some cash from the atm and change it directly telling us about Cambodia that we won't find atm and they take a lot of fees blabla. All the time yelling at us, telling us to stop talking etc.
And finally in the evening we arrived in siem reap. But the bus stopped 5km far from the city in the middle of nowhere. And 20 tuktuk where waiting for us. We had no other choice than take one to go to the city.
Very bad company, very rude people.
Then, at the border people from the company almost forced us to take some cash from the atm and change it directly telling us about Cambodia that we won't find atm and they take a lot of fees blabla. All the time yelling at us, telling us to stop talking etc.

As the other guys are saying. A lot of scams, bad driving, rudeness. They took our tickets when we went to the border so we didn’t have any proof, and told us to leave the bus, because we didn’t want to pay them so much extra for the visa.

We booked end of March a trip from Koh Chang Lonely Beach to Sieam Reap in Kambodscha. Short story - it took 14 hours to make 400km. It is a pitty, really and I hope I can help people to avoid them in future.
The driver came in the morning around 7:00, which was ok. It was the pick up time. He looked a bit on drugs or whatever, but yeah I knew it before, that this trip was about to be "longer" and exhausting. We started the trip and picked up other guests prior the ferry to the mainland. We arrived at the ferry to late and had to wait 30 minutes for the next one, which was 8:30. Pick up at 7, 20km done and at 8:30 we were still not on the mainland.
Once we arrived at the mainland, we picked up some more people and made our way to the border, where we arrived around 12:40. I knew already, that they will try to sell us some stuff. So we left the bus and were dropped in a restaurant, where another guy wanted us to accomodate and wait. As we knew, that the normal visa for cambodia was arond 1100thb, he asked us if we want express service for 1500. It would be faster bla bla bla. We and another couple insisted to do the visa stuff on our own. The guy became angry and wanted to almost force us to work with him. But we didn´t. some other people sat in the restaurant and waited for the "express service" for 1500 baht... ok...
We made our way to the border, left thailand within 10 minutes (no queues at all!) and walked further to the cambodian visa office. wow - so surprised (sarkasm!): No express lane! just 3 officers, sitting around and wanting 1200baht for the VISA - officials at least. We did our Visa within 10 minutes again. So, the whole boarder stuff took us maximum 30 minutes to complete. It was 13:35. We were told to wait "between the countries" to a guy that picks us up and brings us to the van. He came at 14:30. (Already 7 hours on trip...). He brought us to a waiting zone and said "wait here, van comes soon. It was 15:00. Oh what LUCKY people we were. You could buy there refreshements. SIM Cards and other stuff WHILE WAITING! So I just went 5m away from the waiting zone, to buy a sim card. When I did that and I came back, the "boss" of the waiting zone was seriously angry why I did not buy a SIM at his shop, he didnt want to allow me sitting in his waiting zone and so on.... LOL?
Then at 16:00, I asked when the VAN comes. the guy said "10 minutes". Then, at 16:45, the VAN arrived. Me and my girlfriend where so angry already... really.
So finally at 17:15 we made our way to Siem Reap - why 17:15 and 16:45? Because we were waiting for the "EXPRESS LANE" people to arrive... LOL?!?!
Drive to Siem Reap was ok - but instead of leaving us in the promised city center, they dropped us out 5km away from the city. what a coincidence.... there were TUK TUKS waiting for us to bring us FOR FREE to the city centre. And by the way they tried to sell us a Angkor tour and so on. I was so angry that I told the driver bring me just to the hotel. he started being angry with me, he has 5 kids bla bla - well not my problem. then don´t get kids I thought... I was already 13:30 hours on this horrible trip and wanted to arrive.
End of the story - he throwed us out of his tuk tuk and I walked the last km to the hotel.
Never again with these guys - NEVER. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!

I am very sad to hear that experienced but why you write the bad review here? My page is just for pax who travel with me.
I don't know about what you talking, I don't like the way you through all the rubbish to my page that I know nothing about that.
You guys very smart, I am not welcome the tourist like you to visit our country. Our people never do that impolite to any good people. If you are bad we never friendly to you.

i booked this on the 27th of august in Lonely beach, Ko Chang to get down to the Hat Mek border and onto Sihanoukville.
The Bus arrived at 5.45am when I was told 6am (and came at the gate at 5.55am) and I was met by an angry driver who grabbed my forearm to aggressively usher me onto the bus. He then dropped my by the bustling, crazy Hat Mek border with no instructions on what I was meant to do to grab the adjoining bus (apparently) over on the other side in Cambodia.
I ended up paying for a very expensive bus ride to the border and was given a sticker but no instructions on what to do at the border.
Be careful when booking with D.D Mhuek at travel offices in Ko Chang and avoid if possible.
