Be careful in the neighborhood. Lots and lots of homeless laying in the street and sketchy looking roads and street shops.
You can't take pictures of the Botero exhibit, which is huge! Gah! Apart from that, a really exceptional museum highlighting Colombian and Latin American art through the ages.
There is a nice cafe on the ground floor.

A fantastic variety of art styles with a whole floor devoted to Botero. Truly captures Colombia and its people. Including some dark art. The cafe was wonderful as well.

Great museum, especially if you are into art. The Botero entire floor is totally worth it. The exterior square and it's surroundings are crowded and seemed to me a little bit dangerous do.

It's definitely worth a visit. The Botero exhibition is excellent and gives a really good insight into his works covering most of his life.

We came here with our tour group. The tickets were included.we went up the steps to see the Botero collection. His oversized sculptures and pleasant colored paintings were wonderful. And the fact that he kept donating his works to the museum was impressive. There was a life size cardboard poster of the artist just outside the gift shop for visitors to take photos with. Photos were not allowed inside the museum. This visit was worth coming.

O museu é belo mas não deixam tirar fotos das obras de Botero por isso não dou 5, No Museu do Botero em Bogotá há muito mais obras dele e deixam tirar fotos. Mas vale muito a pena ir visitar o museu. Fica na frente da Praça Botero.
