I chose this hotel for a family trip to the beach because of its excellent location, close to the beach and all main attractions. While the exterior of the hotel is full, the lobby and rooms are updated and the staff are nice. Beds are on the hard side; less comfortable than the bed at an average hotel
Chain. Walls are thin too; we heard our neighbors talking and playing music at 2:00 am one night. But the worst part is that they charge a “resort fee” of about $30/day, and they don’t really include anything a resort would provide. In particular, the fitness center was atrocious; hardly any equipment at all and most of it ancient, in an ugly room with a beat up ceiling. I complained about the facility to management but was not offered anything to compensate for it. A reduction in the resort fee or some token compensation towards food/beverage would have been nice. Free WiFi and a couple of mini water bottles does not a resort make.

Fabulous time. Lacey, our concierge personally came to our room to make sure we were satisfied with our visit. We are very appreciative for her acknowledgement and helping to make our stay 5 star. Theo, I'd like to mention as well. What a gentleman and amazing at what he does! He should own this hotel. Couldn't do enough for us with his smile and suggested. We had the best time. Watch out Jersey shore. Asbury is crushing it! So great to see this town on a huge upswing and renaissance.

Great Stay, Excellent room. Wifey & I had a great time down the Jersey Shore. The room we stayed in was pleasantly roomy and comfortable. We had a cool view of the beach. Angeles was very helpful. She greeted us with a smile at the front counter, and she made check in a breeze.
Bravo Zulu to her.
We planning to go back next year and stay there, but this time it will be for my Birthday....:)

Great location, near all restaurants and shops. Across the street from the Boardwalk and Convention Center. Ron at the Berkeley is the best!

Talk about dated - the tables & chairs in this place looks like they bought it from the STARSKY & HUTCH set when the show went off the air & kept it in storage all these years in case they ever opened a bar. On the night of the annual Gay Parade in Asbury, there was 1 person in the bar at 9:30 at night. SO old & SO dated - the 70s called & wants their stuff back.

Poor wine selection and overpriced- Cabernet was a cheap Chilean that was overpriced and not good.
