Food was good slides where good but.... my wife was left in tears due to a lifeguard on the space bowl he body shamed her about her weight. She is a lot below the weight limit we got a manager who said they would discipline him pretty sure they said it to cool me down and won't do anything. He was told by another member of staff about our complaint and all the lifeguards where shouting to each other and laughing. We know this as a local girl said they are talking about us. Men double the size of my wife where going down without being questioned. I believe this lifeguard has been in trouble before because when I spoke to the head lifeguard his body language gave it away. I would only recommend going here if you a really slim. I am writing this review to warn others so they don't feel the same as my wife did. All this in front of my 8 year old daughter please avoid.

The place is nice but the security personnel on the main gate are very RUDE, they treat people in a very bad manner.I would not recommend going there until they give them a curse in customer service.

Visited on August 16th, four adults and two children (ages 4 and 7). Since everything we do is to make our children happy, I have to give it 5 stars, since they were pleased and at the end of the day they said we definitely have to return, I cal it a success.
For the adults reading this, a couple of warnings:
- water is cold in kids pools, and i mean ice cold, but they got used to it so no stars lost there
- food is junk food (hot dogs - but don’t think aof them as hot dogs, instead imagine a meaty like sausage with no taste, pizza, burgers, etc.) Kids had no problem, again, so no stars deducted here (even if i’m writing this review from the toilet)
- beverages lost the color and taste after lunch, whatever juice you wanted from the vending machines you only got soda. Then the still water ran out, then everything was warm. This was bad for me, i can’t drink warm beverages, but again kids were fine with it so no stars lost.
Rides are for all ages, I don’t remember seeing someone finish a ride without a smile on their face.
So overall I would definitely return and enjoy the rides and the water again.
For the adults reading this, a couple of warnings:

Fun slides, food decent included in price BUT security ask for passports: no passport no entry! (luckily I had driving licence). Passport requirement not found on website nor mentioned in confirmation email. Floors begin to burn so best to take aqua shoes.

The Makadi Water World has unfortunately lost its shine. The devices are getting a little old. The towers and entrances are in need of renovation.
Unfortunately, even in high season there is a lack of staff. Especially at Lifeguard’s - as a result, not all slides can be used at the same time and as a result endless long queues arise at the less open slides. Unfortunately, the guards’ whistles don’t help much.
The friendliness and cordiality of the Lifeguard’s has also fallen sharply compared to last year.
But the biggest disappointment was the food court. The drinks vending machines were all more or less not to operate or only under great circumstances. Coffee machines were both out of service. And so the enjoyment was an absolute disaster. You cannot and must not do this to your guests. The prices for a summer holiday of a family of 5 are not super cheap.
Lunch/lunch was almost inedible. The hot dog and burger patties were stocked with a meat substitute which I have to call inedible. The pizza is lovelessly “thrown” on the plates and cut up.
All in all an absolute disappointment.
But what disappointed us most was the lack of desire and the bad mood of the Water Park employees. No smiles - no requests/thanks and all the small extra units that are exemplified in the hotel complexes do not take place in the Water Park.
Unfortunately, it will certainly be hard to keep luring guests back to Makadi Bay. For us the second stay is unfortunately so disappointing overall that we will not come back for now.
It has lost its GLOSS in all places. Unfortunately, all that comes across is the appearance of pulling the tourists' money out of their pockets.
We are very seriously disappointed by our second stay at Makadi Water World!

Good water park. Many slides for all ages.
Slides at the tower can only be used from 120cm, except for the family slide.
This is also controlled.
Food and drink is included in the price.
Paths very hot in summer without actually making bathing shoes.

Pros:
1.Nice slide, you can ride all day and barely have time to visit all
2.Awesome kids pool with slides and refreshing cool water
3.Clean water in swimming pools
4.Always enough cotton wool
Cons:
1.No towels. You come with yours.
2. Meals and drinks are included in the price. The only bar for the entire water park is at the entrance. There are no more water stations. One machine gun. Not only is it a long walk, but there's also an eternal hangout. Cool water ran out two hours after opening. They poured warm water. Disgraceful. Can't we add some water stations in the park?
3. The toilet is dirty.
4. After the break, everyone went on the slide. And then the water started to turn off. Cut off three times in half an hour. Standing in the sunshine waiting for the water to start.
5. There are not enough coaster operators. One operator can handle 3-4 slides. So while she's putting on one, the others are closed. This creates queues.

Me and my wife took the kids (8&5) here for the day during our holiday in Hurghada. The day at the water park was amazing.
We had originally heard about this from sales reps round our hotel pool trying to charge £60gbp per person. However, a google search and we payed closer to £50 for the whole family. In terms of travel we used uber and again £12 there and back including tips, for the driver.
The only thing that tourists from the UK and Europe might find intense is the security checks. They have mirrors checking under vehicles security checking car boots. They also confiscated/ taken our passport whilst we visited - this I disagree with. I got this back when leaving but that was after the security not being sure if he had our passports. I don’t see the need in holding our passport. In truth the security checks just ensure its safe to visit.
The visit includes drinks, lunch (pizza, hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches and salad) and snacks (ice cream, fruit and pastries).
You can get lockers and towels for an extra charge. The woman at the entrance to the park was very pleasant seen me cuing with sales reps, asked me to stand aside checked my number and had me bypassing the wait and into the park in <5 minutes. She was nice and helpful.
There are plenty of slides to pick from with pools varying for ages. Cues 2-3 minutes for some slides.
The only negative is having to carry the inflatables (which you ride on) up several flights of stairs. They have a good weight. But honestly its not unreasonable.
Great day out, appears to be part of a real luxury hotel chain. I will be back on my next visit.

This is our second visit to Makadi water world this year. Yet again we all had an amazing time there. Had a 12 year old and a 4 year old with us and you can’t keep them out of the water! They absolutely loved the shark house and pirate ship slides. They want to go back again! The lifeguards round the children’s areas are on the ball, all are very friendly and helpful with the kids, also on the adult slides, all staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable , this must be from the excellent training from The aqua park manager and assistant aqua park manager, we were lucky to meet them both again, both such lovely guys and speak excellent English. The aqua park as very high standards.
The place itself is a beautiful area with lots of sun beds dotted about to sit and relax if you wanted. We went in a busy time of the year and there were plenty of beds free.
The toilets and changing rooms are spotlessly clean.
The restaurant area is near by where you can get drinks including, water, cola, sprite, fanta, tea and coffee. You can get a selection of fresh pastries all day long, lunch from 12 to 4, you can get pizza, burgers, hotdogs, chicken shawarma, sandwiches and ice cream.
Go and see for yourself what a great place it is to go!

Impossible to call or reach, their website have numbers and reservation email which never reply, I felt their website was a spam. Security service is disaster and have nothing to do with hospitality you feel like visiting a jail, very aggressive and impolite. they asked for ID of spouse saying in case she is lost we find her!!!
