Mooie moskee aan de haven. Links een scheepswerf en rechts een vismarkt waardoor het mooie gebouw afsteekt.
Vrouwen moeten bedekt zijn maar voor 1€ kan je 2 gewaden huren om binnen te gaan.
Mannen mogen onbedekt.
De moskee kan 10.000 gelovigen ontvangen (binnen + buiten).
Binnen is het voor mij wat kitscherig en te veel tapijt.
Maar zeker eens bezoeken als je kan.

Vado spesso a hurghada, in generale da sola ma questa volta siamo stati in compagnia di amici e parenti, abbiamo trascorso una vacanza meravigliosa in uno scenario a dir poco mozzafiato. Dall'alba al tramonto e il 31 agosto abbiamo visto anche la luminosità della blu moon, visita al deserto, visita alla Moschea di hurghada, shopping alla Marina e nei vari negozi locali...non vedo l'ora di tornarci presto.

Beautiful traditional mosque. Prayed Thursday evening Maghreb prayer and it was nice. Lots of shopping nearby and easy to get an Uber anywhere you want to go from here
There is a gentleman inside with a blue T-shirt who came to me and gave some advice about the masjid, very nice guy.

5 stars for the mosque view inside and out. We did Jummah here, and it was very impressive. The Wudhu area could do with some modernisation, but overall, it was adequate for ablution. Be careful as there are street beggers that linger outside.

What a magnificent building, you do have to wear appropriate clothing to enter as a women and you can put the dress on site for a small fee (30 Egyptian pounds - pence really).

I was in Hurghada for a family beach resort holiday. I decided to go for Jummah (Friday) prayers at El Mina mosque. Both inside and out are absolutely amazing.
The outside has a big open courtyard where you can grab great views and photos of the beautiful domes and minarets. On the inside the architecture and design are breathtaking, such incredible detail!
The adhan (call to prayer) was the best adhan I have ever heard in my life. The khutbah (sermon) was entirely in Arabic so I did not understand but the imam spoke with such passion that I was completely engaged. The prayers that followed the khutbah felt so nice standing brother to brother in large numbers in such a beautiful mosque; it was an enhanced spiritual experience.
For non-Muslims visiting, try to visit between prayers so that you can go inside. You will be warmly welcomed as long as you are modestly dressed. You will be allowed to take lots of photos and videos inside.
If you’re in Hurghada this is a must see sight!!

Zum Freitagsgebet haben wir diese Moschee besucht. Wir waren begeistert.
Aussen wie auch im Gebetsraum ist die Moschee sehr schön und beeindruckend.

Mosquée de construction très récente et très spectaculaire intérieurement par la taille de la coupole en particulier. Il est impératif pour les femmes de porter une tenue louée avant d'entrer.

Hello,
We are visiting Hurghada in August this year and wish to see the mosque. How far is the mosque from the hotel aqua jungle park and what’s the best way to get there? Do we need to book beforehand to visit the mosque or can we turn up please.

Not sure how far from your hotel but like any Mosque, its open to public so no need to book.The people are really friendly there. Best way to get around in Hurgadah is by using ABC Taxi. They are cheap and use a meter, you won't get ripped off. To use ABC taxi you will need a local phone sim card which you can buy from the airport after you leave baggage area. Look them up on facebook, you can get their phone number. You can also message them on whatsapp and ask them for a rough quote to where you want to go. They are available all times of the day and are similar to UBER.

i believe this hotel is in makaadie so its quite far from the masjid and you will need a taxi .

from albatros hotel to the mosque you do not need to take a taxi its 10 minutes walking or a by a micro bus for 2.00 egyptian pounds
