Part of the Shilparamam complex, the village museum is an excellent place to see and understand rural lifestyle and crafts of AP and Telangana. The place is well maintained and the dioramas are quite real life like. Photography is allowed and be prepared to spend at least an hour at this place if you really want to learn and enjoy the atmosphere.

I did not expect an open air “museum” with individual shops or houses in a traditional manner with painted statues in all of them. Not much explanation for each craft. Cute in a way. Could be eerie to others.

This is a place to visit with kids to show village atmosphere especially during the festival season as there will be night bazzar and other shops. Good place for kids to learn n see about village and their culture.

Village museum is a very nice art gallery in the city, it is a must visit place especially for kids where you can see different craftsman and artisans, their living style in villages and their work culture.
There is also one old age couple kept one stall for puppet show. It is a worth seeing for the kids.
There is one bullock cart, in which you can take a short ride. It is reasonably priced.

Village museum is located in a Shilparamam area. From there you can get to know more about the village life in India. At the same time it's possible to get some souvenirs from several hand and craft bazaar shops. There are also many restaurants at the area.
