Meertje nu gevuld met water

Vanuit mijn hotel Hyatt kijk ik direct uit op dit meertje. Weinig spectaculair maar wel leuk om hier omheen een wandelingtje te maken. Sinds mijn eerste bezoek heeft dit meertje droog gestaan, dat is nu anders. Bij meertje is een attractiepark, een tempeltje een giga stopping mall en diverse kleine winkeltjes aanwezig.

Old water body redeveloped with the intentions of creating attractive public place......some how could achieve 40% results as planned because of no clear design strategy....... surrounding town planning and malls are the present attraction rather than outdoors and lake recreation.

if you are with family, this place is perfect for an nice evening, this is very small lake in the city, this is just opp to biggest mall in Ahmedabad, Alpha one Mall.. these is a smal garden, and bunch of activities for kids, plus lots of food stalls.. eggs, chinese, corn and lots of other options, so in total this is the perfect place for a family evening..

One of good Hanging place . Lake with Garden. Walking track too. Surrounding u can find so many varieties food / breakfast, just like street food. One can see d place & test d food.

Beautiful Spot

It is located in western part of Ahmedabad and was beautified by Municipal Corporation in 2002. It is surrounded by a walking path and offers an open-air theater & children park. It is a nice place for weekend.

Where is the lake and water

Is this a real lake, I doubt. I think its just named to be a lake. Completely dry even in March month. It should be changed to Vastarpur mitti. Not worth anything. Its more of a couple den, where college going crowd is just too close to comfort of visitors and they are shameless enough, even in scorching heat of noon. Waste of a visit and waste of such huge land.
