“A small area with no attraction”

仅对艺术爱好者有利。附近有一个展览馆，艺术大学生可在此展示他们的作品。除此之外，gufa太小，完全浪费了游客的时间。

A small area with no attraction

Good only for art lovers. There is an exhibition gallery in the vicinity where arts college students display their work. Apart from this the gufa is too small and a complete waste of time for tourists.

A evening well spent

From the starting this place is one of the attraction of morden amdavad.
Specifically when it is designed by MF Hussain himself.
It is very good place for art exhibition.
Kids are allowed to play on the gufa.
The inside is more amazing and yet comfortable also.
It also has small cafe for your appetite.
A very good place to spend evening with friends and family.
Parking is still a problem.
Better to use a two wheeler than a car.

excellent architecture and artistic place.

Architect B.V.Doshi and Great painter M.F.Hussain decided to create an experimental art place......Gufa means cave,the structure is morden r.c.c. monolithic structure half above ground level and half below to keep inner temperature compatibility low than outside harsh..... instead of RCC collumns,inner space is supported by robibbed dome and cast in situe strategic RCC supports......very impressive skylights,has scope to hold small events inside the structure.....supported by cafeteria,art bookshop and art gallery.

Awesome experience

Thanks to TripAdvisor, I discovered this gorgeous little place tucked away in the grounds of a college campus opposite the university and went to visit it because the timings: 4 to 8 pm - suited me after work. It was awesome! Once inside the structure, one feels one is in M. F. Hussain land. However, since it is stuffy and hot, with no ventilation, it is difficult to stay inside for more than 10-15 minutes.
The outside is lovely and green too, with parrots and a lot of locals who come with their kids to play; however, the cleanliness is not up to the mark at all as there is a lot of litter which could be swept away. There is an art gallery and a book shop - with 90% discounts on, I picked up lovely books on design, portraits and prints of paintings by Tyeb Mehta and Ram Kumar; what a find!
The icing on the cake is Zen Cafe - absolutely superb food and coffee; yet, in true Amdavadi style, the service is slow and lackadaisical, yet well worth the wait!

Very nice place of photography

It is a realy good place to have fun and enjoy with your family. I went with my family and enjoyed all day. Good place for children also.

I appreciate her courage

One of our family friends arranged an exhibition on portraits of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. She left painting before years and started again at this dignified place. I was happy.
Two great people designed gufa and just beside it this art gallery allows people to come with their dreams.

Come with kids or boss.. this place excites all. Have a look at the even ongoing painting exhibitions and do try the coffee & fruit cake at the open cafe.. a must visit place at ahmedabad.

A serene place

One of the beautiful place of Ahmedabad, surrounded by lush green trees and a must visit place to look at art work of sir M.F. Hussain. Here you can also have an amazing coffee at Zen cafe. Visit timing is 4pm to 7 pm only.
Inside the gufa one can click amazing pictures. Also this place is very quiet from inside.
