Beautiful architecture and clean temple

Beautiful temple with very artistic gopurams and ornate sculptures. Dress code is mandated and women have to have to tie hair before entering. Could do Darshan at leisure as got there by 8:30am.

Old Bengaluru's Gem

Old Bengaluru's iconic locality with everything ,right from many temples to shopping arcades, vegetable and flower markets, high end shopping malls, eateries and also traditional pooja shops.
A walk down Malleswaram is definitely memorable for its myriad experience.

Beautiful Temples around

First time seen this side of Bangalore as we were on temple trip of belur etc and driver took us in Malleswram which gave us opportunity to visit few very old temples

Malleshwaram is the true identify of real Bengaluru

Being born in Bengaluru and brought up near Malleshwaram I can attest this is one of the very few piece of our glorious past retaining the heritage, culture, local way of life.

Even time I visit India, Malleshwaram is a must visit place. The divine temples, market, local shops and eats are always worth.

In my humble opinion Malleshwaram, Gandi Bazaar must be brought under national monument and protect from any further destruction. If both these areas as razed the city liberally will lose it's real identity.

Old world Charm

Plan to spend at least 3 hrs in this old locality of Bengaluru. Walk across its roads soaking in the atmosphere. There are many temples, old eating joints and vendors selling flowers, fruits, vegetables and small nick knacks. It is one of those few old localities that have still manged to hold on to their heritage and charm.
