Highly recommend this tour! We were taken through the beautiful Kerala backwaters on first a houseboat and then a canoe. Our tour guide Meera was lovely and told us so much about the local area and wildlife. We stopped off at various islands and houses for demonstrations of things like how coconut fibres are turned into rope and how shellfish is processed in the villages. We were also provided with a lovely traditional Keralan meal and some snacks and tea. Everyone involved was so kind and our driver Firez was very helpful giving us advice about where to visit during our trip. If you’re in Kerala you should definitely book this trip - fantastic value for money! Make sure you bring some cash along for tips and in case you want to buy any snacks or goods on the way.

The tour was a relaxed guided boat ride through the Kerala backwaters. We started in a roofed boat and went downstream while the guide informed us about the local flora. Afterwards we visited small riverside villages where the locals showed us important aspects of the historic way of life of the people around the backwaters. After a tasty and plentiful lunch we took another boat ride through the spice trading canals and finished with a small snack and tea.

With the help of our driver Ubaid, we saw beautiful Munnar including the tea plantations and tea factory. Everything was well organised and made our trip go smoothly. Would recommend.

We went on a wonderful day trip to Athirappilly Waterfalls. Our driver Shaji drive safely and professionally, the car is clean and equipped with seat belts and AC. Totally recommend!

Lovely day. Everything is well arranged. The pickup from Kochi. You will be at the backwaters with two different boats. No engines, it is very quit and peacefull. Getting off at different places; to see how rope is made from coconut. A very good lunch is included. It was a lovely day, with a lovely group and a very knowledgeble guide (thank youuuu!)

Absolutely loved the boat tour of the serene Vaikom backwaters . The service provided from pickup by car to transfer to the boat jetty and return were well planned. The boat was in good condition with trained staff and tour guide. The village craftsmen and village stopover for lunch and tea snacks were neatly organised. Overall a beautiful time spent swaying with the river breeze amidst quaint and tranquil nature.

I would definitely recommend this tour, Stanley was amazing and made planning it very very easy. We really enjoyed experiencing glimpses of life around the backwaters and learning about coconut fibre rope and coconut leaf roof tiles. it was amazing to watch the skill of the people who made these. The backwaters themselves were beautiful and very quiet, the tranquility and peaceful punting pace brought me into a very calm and happy state. We saw many wildlife species and the beauty of the landscape. I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I did.

We had the best time on this eco friendly way of seeing the back waters. It was so quiet- we only saw one other boat, the tour guide was very informative and helped us spot local wildlife! We even got to have a try at punting! There’s a delicious meal and snacks throughout, 100% would recommend. Stanley was so helpful with the organisation of this tour too.

It was an amazing experience and well worth the price! We did the 2 days 1 night trip and thought that was the perfect amount of time. Our driver Ubaid was very kind and helpful, often pointing things out along the drive that we might have otherwise missed. He also recommended a lovely lunch spot for us on the journey. Our stay at the hotel was lovely too- they provided an outstanding breakfast and dinner with more than enough food. The standout of our trip was definitely the tea estate walk…be ready for some steep inclines and walking off the beaten track. Our guide Ramesh was so patient with us and we enjoyed talking to him about his life. When you’re in Munnar town, be sure to check out the cultural dance Kathikali and the fight show (tickets were ~£3 per show). Overall we had a great time and could not reccommend this anymore

You can do a canoe boat cruise for two hours in a shaded boat. It will cost Rs 1250 per person includes both way car and two hours in a shaded canoe boat near Alleppey.

Roughly INR 3000 for a cab from Airport to Munnar. For day hire, it would cost you roughly INR 2400/-
