Not at all good.. Please dont take this option.. Very expensive and not worth for it..and food is also not good. Lot of sea food items are there but not good. I f you are going in summer... You will burn with the heat. My kids were crying all the 2 hours bcs of heat and terrible seats of boat. Ther is no perfect coverage for sun light... Waste of money and time

Must see place, mangrove forest, lake- sea conjoining area (azhimukham), bird sanctuary, silent place to spend splendid time/moments...

A family reunion made more memprable

This post is long overdue. We had organized a family get together of 20 people at island tourism in april, 2019. Shamjith and Babuatten made us feel at home and it was a beautiful day. From the 2 hour boat ride in the mangrooves, the fresh kalllu,and the delicious spread waiting for us when we got back it was all well organized. The home cooked crab curry, oyster fry and highlight of the day karimeen fry was super delicious. Would surely recommend this place if u want a break from the city to recharge..

A beatufiul place and a boat ride

Though the lake looks little dirty, its worth the visit. Park the car and walk for about 100m over the bridge, you will find villages on islands and there are boats starting from there, a minimum boat ride of 3 hrs would be very nice. Worth the visit once.

“GREAT EXPERIENCE IN BOATING “

Very good experience with back waters in Kadalundi. We had a tour by Shamjith & Ambali Babuettan from island tourism & it was amazing experience to see village life along the back waters ( Kadalundi River ).
Overall it was very nice experience and it was beautiful!!!

Indeed God’s own country !!!
