Good place to visit. Especially in evening to see sunset and sunrise. Horse riding people harass like anything. Just tell them I came from near by Satara.. Don't need ride...

It's one of the various tourist-spots in Pancgani. We reached around 5.30 in the evening. It's a huge plateau. Hired a horse buggy for Rs 500 to go around the entire area. We bargained and brought it down from Rs 800.
There are two caves here which are named as Pandavas Cave.
We finished after the sunset, which was the best and calming site.
There is nothing much to do here. You can bargain big time with horse carts.in fact you can also cover all the points on foot.

Nice place to visit and have a beautiful sunset experience.
Don't miss the house ride tour across the table top.
There are two caves tiger and lion.
We even trekked from panchgani market to table top the following morning. The views of the sangam and forts from the top is breath taking! Not to miss

The table land is just 8 km from mapro garden. The place is quite an amazing one. one ahould visit sure to explore the hinterland of panchgani.
Here you can find the complete view of all the points like sydney point, rajpuri caves, devil's kitchen etc.
But beware of horse ride. If you are so willing to give cash to them for such a ride then its ok ,otherwise they take a hefty amount . For instance, they will charge approx 5300/- for two person.
You can easily go there and by walk you can cover all the points.

There are a few vantage points on the edge of the flat land. The views are pretty good from there. The entire land is about 6.5 kilometres so if you plan on checking out all points, you might have to rent a horse / horse cart. But if you just want to checkout one point, you can easily do it by walking. There are a few cave restaurants as well.

I thought it would be any other sunrise sunset point or a hill top point, till I actually visited.
A large table like plateau. You can stand at any part of the plateau and enjoy a sunset or sunrise.
The guides told us that the whole table land is 6 kms. We landed around 5, so we could not walk the whole of it.
We saw the valleys around from different points.
I recommend that anyone visiting should take out time to visit it twice. At sunrise and at sunset and walk as much, as you like.
Those who can't walk as much, there are horse rides and carts available.
The plateau is very beautiful in itself, the valley views awesome, best place to take pictures.
Must see at punchagani and worth visiting again.

Worst place…I won’t recommend…or may be it was foggy so was not able to see anything….don’t visit in rainy season

Good tourist spot. Visit when whether is cool around 9.00am or 16.00 pm . To explore whole place walking would take long and will be tiring. Recommend horse ride or pony cart ride to cover all 7 main points.
Negotiate/deal directly with services providers for normal prices.
Avoid trouts completely who cheat visitors 2 to 3 times more and can spoil your trip.
Try to spend minimum 2 hours to enjoy everything. Plenty of snacks available. Avoid feeding the monkeys to be safe. Arrange pre-booked taxi from main market or your hotel to avoid inconvenience

Very good place.
Amazing photos can be taken.
Horses and horse carriages are very costly.
Can be travelled on foot too.
Don't fell in trap of horse owners.
Many movie shoots done there
Beautiful pandava caves with fine dining experience also there.

No. Cars are also allowed till beginning of tableland. From entrance either one has to walk or hire horse. Wheelchair isn't a good option.
