Il culto del dio azzurro s’è trasformato in un vero business: accanto al tempio sorgono l’hotel “Krishna”, il centro benessere “Krishna, ed il palazzo dei congressi “Krishna”.
Entriamo, lasciando le nostre scarpe in custodia; il tempio è una meraviglia indescrivibile, gli interni di marmo bianco e rosa finemente lavorati. I fedeli siedono a terra, a gambe incrociate, davanti a tre padiglioni foderati di rosso.
Le pareti ospitano delle teche contenenti delle statue raffiguranti le leggende legate al Dio.
Mi unisco alla folla nell’ascoltare il Guru che dirige la cerimonia, armato di microfono ed avvolto in una tunica arancione, mentre un gruppetto musicale scandisce il tempo con la musica.
È un botta e risposta tra sacerdote e fedeli:
“”Hare Krishna! - Hare Krishna! - Hare Hare! - Hare Hare! - Hare Krishna! - Hare Krishna!””
Tutti si prostrano dinanzi alle tre statue di Krishna appena scoperte, quindi il Guru si avvicina ad ognuno per donare una profumatissima collana di grani di sandalo, terminante in un pennacchio rosso.
La via dell’uscita ci forza a passare attraverso una batteria di venditori pronti ad appiopparti statue, gioielli e libri su Krishna.

Iskcon is always a feast to eyes to visit

This is a nice and well maintained temple in Pune.
Temple premises is very attractive.
There is a cafeteria and shopping complex also here along with multistoried vehicle parking.
Really good to see.

ISKCON NVCC (New Vedic Cultural middle) is placed in the less congested place of Kondhwa near Pune. ISKCON NVCC is a temple dedicated to Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The temple has lavish green hills in the heritage and provides its visitors with a first-rate ambience. once you input the prayer corridor, you'll be awe-struck through the beautiful idols of Lord Krishna and Goddess Radha. The idols are elegantly adorned with stunning clothes and colorful garlands. The ceilings of the dome and the partitions of the temple are artistically adorned with colourful artwork. The temple homes sports like young people education programmes and Bhagvat Gita analyzing lessons, women and own family empowerment activities, and so on. aside from being the residency of Radha, Krishna and Balaram.

Where do you get free food ?? We have to pay for food and it's extremely costly.. I don't understand. Please let me know if we get any free meal or no. If not then please don't deceit people

There is parking space available but it could be difficult to find a parking spot on heavy rush day. Good thing is its free parking. Before the temple entry there are 4 banquet halls of ISKCON. There is a small garden before the temple. You have to climb some steps to enter the temple. On ground floor there is a meditation centre. Adjacent is Balaji temple. The temple premises is surrounded by tall buildings. One can buy prasadam ( laddu ) at 60rs .

Lunch (12.00 to 3.00 pm) & Dinner (7.00 to 10.00 pm) available.

The place is about 20 km from Khadki.
Have there is any accommodation in temples rest house with two rooms for two days if I will visit from wb
New guest house is about to get inaugurate on 11th Nov and ready to use by 15th Nov so yes you can get accommodation on and after 15th Nov , but please call Temple authorities for booking before you plan to come.
