“Courtallam five falls and main falls.”

第12 6月13日 2017和乔乌尔塔拉姆去上。喜欢在洗澡0430上午第13上五个瀑布。没有太多的人群。喜欢在瀑布里洗澡。因为没有下雨那天的瀑布不是很粗糙的。

乔乌尔塔拉姆列表中有一个瀑布 - 主瀑布,瀑布五,老乔乌尔塔拉姆瀑布, sitraruvi ,老虎瀑布等。所有的这些,主要的瀑布和五个瀑布是最受欢迎的游客和拥挤淡季（一般都在七月 - 九月）。老乔乌尔塔拉姆也同样好的和我推荐游客在那里通常是因为它有一个浴缸的人少相比其他瀑布。

"Not like the old courtrallam"

Water flow is very low in the five falls of courtrallam.
Too much crowd in Mainfalls.
Not suitable for Bathing.
Make sure to come on a working day to avoid much crowd.

Beautiful Waterfalls down south

We went to Trivandrum for a marriage After checking a few reviews online we planned a trip to Kutralam by road While the distance is only around 105 KMs, it took 4hours 30 minutes [started at 150pm and reached at 630pm]. More than half the distance is through Ghat Road and the total stretch is being relaid. we left the falls at 7.30pm and reached back at 1115 pm. return trip was a bit scary and on 2 spots the car almost broke down since the front axle touched boulders. Thanks to the expertise of the driver. if a break down you are struck in the middle of the ghat with absolutely no help

My suggestion is, do not follow the tranvandrum-kutralam direct route. it is tiring and bit risky - going via tirunelveli or sencottai is a better option.

For the falls, it was a heavenly feeling. We visited in June19

Courtallam visit

We went on a friend's trip to coutrallam, had a wonderful trip, with water falling in all falls, the best was five falls, but families stay away,many drunken people causing lots of problems there, so be careful when you go with family

Good waterfalls can take bath 24 hours

As long as there is no heavy rain and flood, you are allowed to take bath. But you should get moderate water to enjoy your bath. huge rush will be there but polices are controlling the crowed. Also they are not allowing the group to shout or make noise. Mostly people are taking bath for an hour while giving way to others. Soap, Shampoo and oil not allowed while taking bath. Don't wear jewelry. During season, the water flow will be good and you will feel, you are getting natural water massage. Good resort and restaurants are there around waterfalls and you can eat and relax. Don't miss to take bath in main falls and five falls. If you can spent one or two more days, plan to visit Thenmala Ecotourism which is very close to Courtallam.

Family trip - Courtallam

We group of family members with young kids visited Courtallam on 11th & 12 Aug,
Weather was perfect & all falls gushed with full stream
Crowded but less compared to my last visit during this season, anyway police managing by allowing them pass through queue with good control
Kids enjoyed a lot
Wash / change room facility not friendly to be improved

Excellent Place

Excellent place to visit during July to September. Apart from the heavy rush you feel rejuvenated for quite a long period after taking bath in the falls in and around courtallam.

Tirunelveli District Tour including Courtallam

Stayed at Hotel Tamilnadu. For a Government Hotel the Rooms are well maintained and the staff are very courteous. Unfortunately could not take bath in the falls due to heavy flooding. But the view of the falls with its roar is splendid. Hotel Tamilnadu gave me the honor of hoisting the flag on independence Day. Luckily we could take bath in Agastihar falls before reaching Courtallam.

Rejuvenate yourself here

Kutralam / Courtallam is called South India's Spa which is really meaningful. It is a place I want to visit at least once a year to immense myself in nature, to shower in the number of water falls with flowing herbal water and to walk around peacefully, eat here and there, forgetting the mechanical city life.

Pros:
- Easily accessible by train, bus, etc.
- Cheap options to stay
- Good food
- Natural water falls

Cons:
- Water flow only available during seasons which is not much predictable. (Jun-Sep)
- Tourism is not developed much in terms of facilities
- Overcrowded sometimes
