Evening walk around the park is very Pleasent
very big park, granite paved floor, spacious park ,however there is nothing much to explore , except some clicks

An architectural marvel, Dr Ambedkar Memorial Park is massive and beautiful. Sheer eye candy, it is a feast for the eyes from near as well as afar.

Not sure whether to give this park a 1 Star or 5 Star rating.
1 Star A massive area of polished marble with steps in places you would not expect. A health and safety nightmare for walking.

An amazing place to visit in The cool of the late afternoon, this park is a statement on a gargantuan scale - it’s very impressive in its scale, it’s quite attractive in parts, but what unfortunately overwhelms the intended message of valiant struggle for the cause of the Dalit community, is the conceit and overblown ego of the woman who ordered its construction. Ms Mayawati (ji) has installed herself not once, but umpteen times, at the centre of the glorification of those fighting for the rights of the untouchables, with a central quadruple statue of her (with handbag - does she think she’s the Queen?!), in both of the twin domes, surrounded by other worthies such as Gandhi and Buddha. Another bronze statue of he accompanied her mentor in the centre of the park, and across the dual carriageway to the airport I spotted YET ANOTHER 4-ply statue of her. This is ego on a pharaonic scale, and so totally lacking in insight as to be laughable - given it cost over 1/2 a billion quid to build, it’s tragic that she overshadowed the ongoing worthy cause of Dalit emancipation

Visited a couple of years ago with a friend. It’s amazing and a great place to take photos but, when I visited at least, not yet taken over by Instagram hungry people jostling for the perfect snap.

This place exudes power and grandeur in a sprawling expanse of Rajasthani stone work. The 80 odd royal elephants dot the backend of the park, while various other structures and monuments inside are all fantastic picture spots and a place to spend a lazy evening.

Biggest waste of environmental disaster, cement, steel, prime land, green space etc. What could have been done in rightly and duely in some 20000 sq ft is wasted in acres of land and greenery. No trees, no benches, just stone, stone and different stones, elephants, statues, open space exposing you to harsh weather. Monumental waste. Same money could have fed, educated, poor of UP.

OMG. You just can't complete your Lucknow tour without visiting A.M. Park. Lots of places to walk inside. Good architectural work, just once visit this place and will realise what you have seen. Evening lighting is amazing.
