Great nice church with modern and entertaining museum that summarizes the most important stories of the bible by using figures, texts and music. People are really friendly here. The spoken texts in the museum are only in Hindi.

It is the best & most famous church in Varanasi to Visit. We visited here on 25th December and enjoyed a lot.

De gemaakte foto’s spreken boekdelen. Een afgesloten hekwerk en door de begroeiing heen schittert een verwaarloosd gebouw.
Zal wellicht te maken hebben met de nieuwe eigenaar (sic!).
Vervelend is het wel dat je hier pas achter komt als je voor het dichte hek staat!

The architectural of the chruch is amazing. Its one of the oldest chruch in varasasi . its nice to visit this chruch.

大きい教会でした。クリスマスシーズンだったので、建物の後ろで何か催事がありました。大して面白くなかったけど。中は良かったです。

We were visiting Varanasi in February for official work and took time out to visit some important places of interest. We spotted this interesting place, which is closed to public for prayers etc as it has been taken over by INTACH (Indian National Trust for Art, Culture and Heritage) for renovation and restoration work.

Протестантская церковь Святой Марии, совершенно не типичная постройка для Варанаси.Заложена в 1810 году. Интересная архитектура. Она, как будто, приплюснута. Считается старейшей протестантской церковью в Северной Индии.

Интересная постройка начала 19 века. 200 лет, не возраст для Индии. Построена англичанами. Очень рационально. Внутри не жарко и не душно. Очень тихое и чистое место для Варанаси.

Nobody answered my question about saturday 16/11/2019 afternoon or following Sunday morning Mass. SHame on people should have answered. However, thanks to the local guide, my Friends and I could attend a beautifull Mass on Sunday at 10.30 in Cathedral St Mary. An emocional experiencia, crowded the church with families, Manu children, generous donations, many many Communions and several priests and the catholic Bishop viven the Mass. God bless you, Varanasi's catholics. You are a beautiful flock and an example forma Western catholics.
