Die Stupa und Gartenanlage ist wunderschön. Allerdings wurde durch den Bau der Anlage der Charme der tibetischen Siedlung völlig zerstört. Am Wochenende ist der Ort voller Besucher und die Anlage wird zu einen Picknick Spot.

The Tibetan Buddhist temple is one of Dehradun’s famous landmarks and is known for its beautiful architecture.
The wall paintings inside the temple depicting the life of Lord Buddha are simply spectacular. The temple was constructed in 1965 by the Tibetan community in India as an imitation of a Tibetan Monastery.
Buddhist Temple contains statues of Buddha and ethereal wall paintings. The temple also has an open air viewing platform from where you can enjoy 360 degrees view of the city of Dehradun.
major attraction of the temple is a 130 feet tall statue of Buddha, which was dedicated to the Dalai Lama.

The temple premise is well maintained.
We were fortunate to meet the Lama and seek his blessing
We loved the serenity & beautiful clear view, since it had rained earlier
The plaques with quotes in the court yard are thought provoking.
I wish the visitors would maintain the sanctity of the campus & observe silence or talk in low volume.
There's a small school canteen outside which serves delicious momos and egg drop soup, which was very welcome on the rainy day.

Tibet is nearby and this temple takes us there without visa or passport. The monks and the lawns and the statues especially the rolling bells which give the monastery the nom de plume of Mind Rolling Monastery. Inner peace is achieved by rolling these bells and by meditation of this beautiful place - an escape with a spiritual attraction.

This is such a huge temple in Dehradun. Everything about this place is so exquisite. The status is very beautiful and so intricately designed and made. Such a lovely and huge lawn also there. Very peaceful to just sit, relax and do nothing there. Don't miss the paintings on the walls that showcase the ideology. Check the timings of opening before visiting, since they might have some restrictions. Otherwise, a must go to place if you are in Dehradun.

Nearly everything about this temple is special in its own..... the peace you will get here... the amazing view you will be able to see... You will enjoy each and every corner of the temple when you visit it... you can visit with your friends or your family or on your own... There are amazing statues.. beautiful paintings.. The atmosphere in the temple so much positive... that it will cause a very positive effect on your mind also.. There are trees inside the temple premises and there are strict rules for people too... The cleanliness and hygiene of the temple is highly maintained.. You can go there click pictures.... have fun... there are also shops where you can get eatable items...

I stayed at court road , just opp to SSO office which is a well connected road and safe locality. I reserved 60 one auto to visit all places in my list. Sahastradhara, Sai Mandir, Guchchu Pani and Mindrolling monastery. which cost me only 1200/-. Others places can be reached via bus/shared auto but for monasteries, you need to get a reserved auto or taxi.

It is situated just ahead of Clementown which is ahed dehradun ISBT. The road is called Saharanapur road. if you are going to wards Saharanapur then you will need to take left. a few hundred meters of Hyundai showroom on left.
