This temple is now more prominent with the construction of the adjacent Shelter Kebencanaan Baruna and the new art marker building that is still vacant. The temple can now be easily accessed from the plaza in front and without having to brave the throng of raucous stallholders that previously occupied the area surrounding. The restorations have improved the temple features and its is worth visiting if in the arura.

Men as well as women have to wear a sarong or "traditional dress" to enter the small complex near Kuta beach. Women having their period are not allowed in.
The Hindu temple is of classical Balinese design with tall gates and beautiful gate keepers. Remarkable is the tower as it has a megaphone placed at the top level. Almost similar to what you see at minarets near mosques. Believers can place their offerings on tables outside the temple compound. After dark dogs at the beach side of the temple are hazardous.

This Hindu Temple is located at the rear of the Art Markets and if you're appropriately attired you can enter and enjoy a few minutes of peace away from the hawkers and scammers. Sections of the complex are currently under restoration but the gates, monuments and other buildings showcase the architecture and intricate carvings of the various deities. Offerings from the locals are placed in front of all shrines. Worth a visit but has much in common with other temple complexes.
