Sorry for late.. no u can’t as it’s not possible. Yes scooter is the best option for exploring Bali. And it supposed to take 15/20 min max either way.

I've only been to balangan beach and there is no coast road there. The drive is about 25mins from the main road. It's not a bad drive, smooth roads and enjoy the view

Both are white sand beach, the difference is Kuta Beach is very crowded, while Balangan Beach is not. Balangan is better for surfing and the sand is more clean.

about an hour drive. Motorbike ride is always the beach to reach this place (or any other hidden gems in Bali). :)

Hi AKH It depends on what beach you want to swim at. If you are swimming between Kuta and Seminyak, always swim where there is life guards and flags. Waves can vary on tide and weather. If you are going to surf beaches like Balangan, I wouldn't go out to far unless you are a good swimmer.
