BTC (Beteng Trade Centre) is the place for Batik ( Batik is an Indonesian technique of wax-resist dyeing applied to whole cloth, originated from Java, Indonesia). There's lots and lots of batik in different style, colour, type, kind of cloth, souvenir, shoes and many others. The price is various, depend on original handmade or printing. It's very nice to see en enjoy the diversity. You can't hardly choose. If you're planning to buy batik, it's better to go to a specific shop or with a local because they will always charge you more than the average.

Yg cari baju2 khas Batik SOlo must reccomend this place. Cukup murah dan bisa ditawar plus cukup lengkap dan nyaman. Daripada mesti berdesakan ke Ps klewer, tempat ini bs jadi alternatif lain bt yg cari oleh2 Batik khas solo.

Pusat nya kain di jawa tengah. Harga sangat2 murah . Kain ( batik, broklat, tilee , dll) sungguh sangat komplit.

Berada persis di sebelah Pusat Grosis Solo (PGS). Pusat jual-beli fashion: garmen, batik, sepatu dan sandal di kota Solo.
Tempatnya selalu ramai, buka pukul 09.30 pagi.
Minusnya, saluran udara dan pendingin di BTC kurang bagus, jadi lumayan sumuk (gerah) ketika berada di dalam. Ketersediaan eskalator juga kurang, jadi pengunjung harus naik-turun tangga.

This is an oasis for your eyes, bateeq are everywhere. Silk, handmade, printed, you named it. Price is very reasonable start from idr 20.000 and some store put fix price if you are not good at bargain.
Crowded and full of visitors still make this a fun shopping.
I found one luxury bateeq dress at one shop, and pass it ,thinking will find cheaper one at another store. And turn out it didn't.
Unlucky me, i failed to back to the first shop because i forgot the way back.
So, ladies make a smart decision for your own good.

tempatnya bersebelahan dengsn pgs. disini menjual berbagai macam kain, mulai kain gorden hingga kain broklat untuk kebaya. batiknya pun bermacam-macam, harga murah jika bisa menawar. kainnya bagus-bagus. kalau mau mencari bahan untuk baju seragam bisa datang kesini
