Anyone looking for a cool and friendly place to hang out in this area would be happy with Fat Willy's bar, and their restaurant 5th Avenue.
The bar is welcoming and lively, with a decent pool table and reasonable prices. Good music all night, and they are open to requests.
The 5th Avenue restaurant, just down the road, has excellent food, both Indonesian and Western. Check out the pizza with rendang! They also have sport on the multiple large screen TVs: football, F1, rugby, Aussie rules....
The bar is welcoming and lively, with a decent pool table and reasonable prices. Good music all night, and they are open to requests.

I have been going there for years, since their opening actually. Friendly staff, good drinks, pool table, possibility to order food from the restaurant next door, can request songs. Great place for a simple drink or bigger parties.

In Batam Island is an area with various bars and restaurants,
Fat Willy’s is a discrete bar with a simple layout toilets for male and female and nice new pool table.
Girls are there to entertain and keep company if you want.
Any request of music is welcome and probably the biggest selection of alcohol available in the area.
And this place gets busy during the weekend for sure :)

This is a pretty typical bar in the area. One variation I suppose is the the pool table which, in this case, is at the back of the bar which runs along the left wall. Sat a the bar as it was quiet and the bar staff were friendly and chatty. Not much atmosphere though as it was still earlyish in the evening. Apparently it does get very busy later so I may be misjudging it. I would suggest well after 10 might be okay. Drink prices slightly above the norm but if it is a popular bar perhaps that’s understandable.

Its a very small bar with 1 pooltable and a few seats,nice staff there good services and cold beer,also ate at there restaurant just 20 meter away,maybe little bit expencive for be indo food but ok clean and good

Just at the best cross road in Kampung Bule, Batam, where Convenience Store and Bag & Accessories Shop mix with Pub, Bar and Restaurant, this cute little Bar exist, with its big neon sign for Willy and Dick .....
Nice atmosphere when you come inside, good music with its best sound system, pool table for complimentary and .... not dick or willy, instead ... plenty of "Mademoiselle"
Drinks are not cheap though, but fair enough consider they provide the comfort for you free, 50 thousands Rup for a bottle of beer but the girls will ask you for their standard drink, which has charge of 80 thousands Rup .... if you open one or more bottle of liquor then you will be the king for one night .....
Stay till late, after eleven, then perhaps you are lucky to meet the boss, little cute lady, who will mingle with you happily and be given Midas touch ?

Went with my boyfriend but the girl at the door brought us in with a smile and even pulled a chair for me to sit.
However it was really crowded and small and not a place to chill drink with friends.
Drinks were pricer than average.
Girls there are much prettier than other pubs.

Tip: If you are a married man working in Batam and you are looking for a mistress, ask for Isma Enyka at the bar. She is great!

This was the most lively bar we visited on Saturday night. Staff were very friendly and efficient, drinks reasonably priced, you can buy spirits by the bottle for you table and if you don't finish then they will put it behind the bar with your name on it for next time! When the bar closed we decided to walk back to our hotel rather then jump on the back of a moto taxi, after walking round for around 15 minutes completely lost the owner we met earlier in the bar pulled up next to us in his car and asked if we were lost haha. We asked him to point us in the right direction but he said jump in and dropped us off. Seemed like a decent friendly guy. Cheers!

All I can say is the staff and owner was rude to us. Won't be going back there! We were bar hopping in the Kampung Bule district and decided to go in. We ordered a drink, never got a smile and the drinks took forever to come. Needless to say, that was the first and last time for this place.
