Andrew is a great guide. Nice, pleasant and very knowledgeable.
Andrew is very connected to Acre and the local people, and knows how to adapt himself to the crowd. Patient and with lots of giving.
We had a great family trip (adults and teenagers) with him.

The tour was excellent. Andrew was flexible on tour times and provided us with recommendations on places to eat lunch before the tour. He kept the whole tour moving through the city, providing very informative commentary about the history and modern life in the city. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the city

Our tour was wonderful and was one of the highlights of our trip! Andrew was wonderful with our kids and we highly recommend this tour for any families!

I did a half day walking tour with Andrew and very much enjoyed learning from his insights on the Arab community in Akko, life in the city and how conservation of Akko as a Unesco world heritage site is done.
He was highly informative and able to weave the history with modern life in Akko, offering me an indepth perspective into the city, its people and culture. I am very happy that I learnt much from the walking tour and would recommend him to anyone who is looking to visit Akko.

Our group of 6 agreed that Andrew was the best tour guide that we had on our 2 week trip! His background in archeology, his passion to teach in a fun and interactive way, and his knowledge of the local area and history kept us all thoroughly engaged throughout the half day tour. Considering we were on our last day of travel and very tired this was no easy feat. In addition to the fantastic "below the streets" tour of old Akko, the opportunity to see "behind the doors" at street level, the new homes, boutique hotels and artwork were a highlight. Everyone seemed to know him, with one local even asking us to stop for a neighborly coffee which he poured for us as we stood in the narrow pathways in front of his home. What an experience. Highly recommend Andrew!! Or, maybe "Mayor Andrew?!"

We did a half day tour with Andrew, a native of Akko, an archeologist and a teacher. He was super informative, kind and patient, and knew a lot about the history of this fascinating town as well as the many colorful characters who lived there or who are currently living there. He paced his tour very well, answered all of our questions, and kept us engaged with interesting facts and funny stories. We learned a lot and had a wonderful time (even the 12 year old who hates museums and history!). Andrew was a highlight of our visit to Israel.

Andrew has spent his whole life in Acre and thoroughly enjoys giving these tours. He is enthusiastic, patient, informative,, and eager to show you what he knows and share his city with the visitors. Our tour took most of the day and we saw most of the sites.
Obviously, this is a politically and religiously fraught land, and Andrew does a good job of navigating through the religious and political currents. Full endorsement from us.

Andrew truly made our day in Akko the highlight of our trip. He is so passionate about both the history of his city and its place in broader society. He is honest about the troubles facing it but hopeful about its potential. Not to mention he knows everybody! Cannot recommend him enough.

Andrew is one of the hardest working tour guides I’ve had. His passion for Akko is infectious. He’s obviously passionate about his subject and knowledgeable about a broad range of information. At the end of the tour you feel you’ve made a friend. The fact that he’s a local with native Arabic makes you feel that you’re being toured around someone’s home. All in all and excellent experience.
