Shannie just dropped us off after 8 non stop days of intense touring. He became an honorary member of our family and we are leaving Israel with a whole new understanding. He was the most informative and knowledgeable tour guide we have ever had and we have been to over 35 counties. The way he made everything come together at the end and tied it all up in a bow for us was priceless. His story telling skills are beautiful and there is no other guide to tour israel with.

I spent 6 days as a solo traveler in Israel with Shannie as my guide! I have traveled extensively throughout the world. Shannie is the single best tour guide I have ever experienced. Shannie's knowledge of world history, religion and geography are incredible and he could easily be a professor at any university of his choosing. Even more impressive than his knowledge is his ability to communicate with people. Shannie has an incredible talent to make strangers smile. I think people can read that he is genuine and sincere. I hopped in Shannie's beautiful van and we saw every inch of Israel. These were non-stop days and I was happily exhausted each evening. I strongly recommend Shannie Paine if you plan to tour Israel.

We have just completed our second multi-day tour with Shannie. His knowledge of Israel, its history and its political situations are unparalleled. His insight on history and religion brings the areas we visit to life. To not go with Shannie is to miss out.

We can't imagine anyone we would rather have spent our 10 days in Israel with and highly recommend Shannie's services. His knowledge on all topics related to Israel (and many other topics) is incredible.It was like taking a comprehensive graduate course on Israel in 10 days but so much more fun. He handles all the details so you can relax and enjoy. We thank Shannie for a trip of a lifetime!

My wife and I spent 10 days with Shannie covering Israel - South to North and East to West. In our years of personal guided tours, we have not had one individual that provided such an enjoyable and personally relevant tour. He deserves particularly high marks for listening and adjusting to our interests and knowledge level after we gave initial guidance. We especially appreciated the context for each site, both through his encyclopedic knowledge of history - but also through the background history from the period. In his words he "story-fied" in a way that helped us understand in a very personal way. Without question he is one of the best and an individual that goes the extra mile to insure the time spent is memorable beyond compare. Shannie will be excellent for individual tours or for large groups. We highly recommend his services.

My family of four (two teenagers) spent Thanksgiving week in Israel. Shannie was our guide for seven days. We built a rough outline of what we wanted to see in advance, and when we arrived Shannie had everything all lined up. He included a nice mix of historical and religious sites spanning 3,000 years, and spent one day giving a Jewish perspective of Jerusalem and another day giving a Christian perspective. We also spent two days around the Dead Sea, Masada, and did two incredible hikes in the Judean desert. Shannie had lunch with us every day and knew all the good places to eat! Riding in his van was like being in a classroom as he presented his views on current politics. Shannie was a wealth of information on the history of the region, numerous religions, and even geology and the natural environment during our hikes. We would definitely work with him again.

My wife and I spent 14 memorable days in Israel earlier this month with Shannie Paine who is a world class, fabulous guide. From Jerusalem to Masada to the Dead Sea to the Golan Heights to Caesarea to Tel Aviv to Eilat and to many other points of interest too numerous to mention, Shannie made our trip a once in a lifetime experience. He's an engaging storyteller whose knowledge of history, archeology, and the state of current affairs in Israel and the Middle East is conveyed in a way that is both informative and thought provoking. Simply put, Shannie is the best!

Shannie brought Israel to life for us. His knowledge and recall is truly amazing during the 3days we spent with him, we learned So Much history of Israel and the different factions involved in what makes Israel, Israel. He is warm, friendly, funny and incredibly brilliant . His passion for what he does and the land he loves comes through vividly as he tells you about the different places u will see. We highly recommend him as your tour guide. U will be very happy you chose him.

We have hired guides around the world and none have ever compared to Shannie. This man’s breadth of knowledge (history/politics/religion/geography etc) and his ability to share it in such a captivating way is truly unparalleled!!! He is full of charisma and made our trip through Jerusalem and the Dead Sea our best yet!
Shannie kept things interesting, always had insider tips on where to go.. and most importantly where to eat! He is full of great stories and at the end of the trip you feel like you have a new good friend... and we feel lucky to have him!
If you want to truly understand and enjoy this complex, dynamic country, you need to hire Shannie!!!! You can thank me later!

We were part of a bar mitzvah tour in Israel this past March that ranged in size of up to 50 people. We travelled extensively from North to South, Tel Aviv, Tiberius and Jerusalem. I liked everything and could not rate what was best - it was all top notch. Shannie handled all of the coordinates and details like a champ. He was never frazzled, never annoyed with our high maintenance group(at least overtly) and never late. His ability to multi task, stay on a tight schedule while simultaneously sharing his extraordinary endless knowledge of everything there is to know about Israel both past and present was impressive. He had our entire group hanging on every word he said. We waited daily for him to pick up the microphone so we can take in all of the interesting facts he had to offer. I had never been to Israel before and I definitely fell in love. I can't wait to go back and work with Shannie again.
