Hostoric Trail vorbei an Hügelgräber, Buddhas-Felsreliefs und Buddhas-Staturen!

Wir wählten den Historic Trail und der Ausgangspunkt war das Nationalmuseum (keiner der Haupteingänge) und führte uns die 5,6 km Richtung Geumobong Peak. Ein wunderschöner Wanderweg wo man innere Ruhe und Ausgeglichenheit findet. Vorbei am vielen Hügelgräbern und einigen Aussichten auf Gyeongju. Am Geumobong Peak angekommen machten wir einen Abstecher zu zwei Buddha (Felsrelief und Statue) die hin und retour 1,2 km ausmachen. Danach Richtung Samneung mit einem Wanderweg von 2,5 km und ist dieser Wanderweg ebenfalls von Buddhas-Felsreliefs und Buddhas-Statuen gesäumt. Ein Wanderweg mit ca. 10 km der gemütlich 4 Stunden dauert.

世界遺産公園！

日本の国立公園と同じで、世界遺産エリア慶州とその周りの山々を含む地域を表す「慶州国立公園」という名称です。お寺や博物館、史跡などが何十もあり、1日では周りきれないほどです。

Point de départ Samreung jusqu'à Geumobong Peak puis descente par Yongjanggol Valley soit environ 10 km. Vestiges dissiminės dans la végétation. La descente est sportive. Plus belles vues sur la montagne lors de la descente. Nous recommandons vivement.

Do the extra hike to Tohamsan

We hiked both up and down to Seokguram (from Bulguk-Sa) and on to the peak of Mt Tohamsan, both of which were well marked. The forest trails with maple trees were stunning and the weather was fantastic. So far we’ve had sunshine and highs of 18° every day for 2 weeks travelling around South Korea! Plenty of toilet facilities available too!

This is a wonderful national park with many things to see, and with all of the things to see being national treasures. Plan to spend a couple of days here.

I got lost

The first half of this hike was great—a bit hot, but great. The second half, I got very lost and was a little worried about slipping. I didn’t see a lot of people and was concerned being alone. It may be more fun on a nicer day and going with others. I did a ton of hiking in Korea and while this was the hike I was most looking forward to, it was my least favorite. Also, while I loved some of the carvings, they were a little hard to see and I felt like the other things I saw in Gyeongju and Korea in general were more appealing. I wouldn’t go out of my way to do this hike. I did love the hikes I did at Seoraksan, in Seoul (Bukhansan and the City Wall Hike) and in Busan (the coastal walk).

トレッキングでも有名の様ですが、足腰の弱い自分のような者でも十分楽しめるようになっています。世界胃散になっている仏国寺や石窟庵などがあり、こちらはそんなにアクセスがきつくないのでゆっくり見る事ができます。

Fabulous hike

I caught the 500 bus to samneung and walked to Geumobong Peak then down to Yongjang village then caught the same 500 bus back to Gyeongju. My favourite day to date in Gyeongju. Hiking was good .. quite a long 3 hour hike .. with plenty of stops and things to see on the way , tombs, Buddha, views and more. Plenty of people on the track so felt quite safe doing this alone. Take water and lunch with you. Thoroughly recommend if you like the outdoors and hiking. The tourist information booth gave me a map of the hiking route which was really helpful as well as telling me what bus to catch
