We saw an excellent Joe Hisaishi concert experience including many of his songs he created for Hayao Miyazaki like "My Neighbour Totoro". There was also a collection of other movie soundtrack songs that were played when we visited and from what we understood many (if not all) of the performers were from the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra.
The closest metro station is Central Park Station by Songdo Central Park. There are a few good restaurants around the park area but not much directly by the concert hall. Tickets can be purchased in advance through their website but it certainly helps if you have friends that live in South Korea to assist. If you are coming from Seoul do keep in mind that it takes a little while to get to this area so do allow extra time if you take the bus or a taxi.
