正房瀑布是亚洲唯一的直接流入海中的海岸瀑布，高23米，宽8米，深5米。正房瀑布的悬崖上刻有“徐福过此”几个字（徐福：中国人，曾奉秦始皇（BC259－BC210）之命寻找长生不老药，经过此处）。西归浦的得名也是取自徐福由此向西而归之意。 阳光照射到瀑布上就会有色彩缤纷的彩虹出现，同湛蓝的海水一起，展现出神秘景色，可谓美丽之极。 早在古代就把它称为正房瀑布，作为瀛州十景之一。 正房瀑布所在悬崖倚海而立，其上有古松斜长，仿佛就要落入海中。这里向东300米有一处高5米的小正房瀑布，夏天十分适合疗养。海岸悬崖上还有瞭望台，可观赏海边的美景。沿着海边峭壁屹立，上面各种树木郁郁葱葱，一棵老松依壁而 . . .

济州岛三大著名瀑布中最值得参观的一个-正房瀑布。高23米，瀑布水流直接流入大海的瀑布，也是亚洲唯一一个。付上2,000韩圜，向下步行约一百三十级、有点湿滑的石楼梯，再攀过大小不一的岩石，便可近距离观赏瀑布。在瀑布旁的大岩石上还可坐下拍下与大自然奇观的合照。

济州岛天赐三处著名的瀑布。这是最令人敬畏的一个，大自然母亲拥抱它的美丽。从远处，你可以看到彩虹。你最终可能会像我一样……从岩石和石头上跳下来，希望靠近瀑布。当我追求与这种自然美景接近的一步时，我确实摔倒了。但我无法抗拒它的魅力，最终我坚定地站在美丽的面前。不要羡慕，去吧！

I will go Jeju on February 2019, is this place giving good scenery on this month?

Yes. Water flow today looks smaller than some other pictures in reviews on here, but we could feel the spray from across the pool and enjoyed the view.

Hi, I would like to ask how long it takes to walk in to the waterfall from the car park? and we will take the same route out after that? I intend to visit in Sept. Thanks. Jacklyn

The steps going down and up should take an average of 10-15mins each way, depending on the stamina. At the end of the steps, there are many big rocks before the waterfall, if you need a photo shoot closer to the falls, you will need to walk on these and will take time especially if it is crowded to get a good shooting spot. Also do factor time that you will need to purchase tickets just before you enter, it may vary depending if there are crowds.

Traveling to Jeju Island, South Korea for a long couples weekend. My husband and I are hikers but like to go at our own pace. We are moderately active and like to explore. Staying in City - should we rent a car to see the island or rely on tours/taxis?
Suggestions of what not to miss appreciated as well...

I would suggest renting a car so you are not restricted to bus timings. I was there for 5 days and only see 3 bus.
I’d recommend the below :
Sangumburi crater, Jeju world natural heritage Centre, manjanggul cave, hallasan, seongsan Ilchulbong, zip line adventure park and bomnal cafe.
