“在金三角的一个景点”

位于金三角附近，这里是三个国家的交接点，很多人从清莱包车过来这里游玩，只能说是一个挺有历史意义的地方，至于景色就比较一般了

“充满历史的地方”

虽然这是个挺长途的景点，但登高望一下金三角整个区域，和这个区域发展的经济特区，以及特区周边诸多的商店和旅馆，写着大大的简体字，让人真的感受到这边真的是边境。鸦片博物馆虽然小小的，但也足以去看一下，里面对于金三角的历史解说。

We visit Chiang Rai and Ching Mai. We cross Mekong river and visit Done Sao island of Laos. River crossing is lifetime experience for me. Done Sao has a wonderful botanical garden and only 50 Thai Bath is charge each person. In the garden they made cottage and furnished with information about the stopping of drug business in the Golden Triangle. Highly recommended to visit the island.

This area was dedicated to opium trafficking

Located in Chiang Saen is the famous “Golden Triangle” of the Mekong River, which encompasses areas of Thailand, Laos and Burma formerly dedicated to the opium trade. There are many stalls with crafts and there is also the opium museum. They took us to lunch here and then you can walk around a bit, take photos and shop at the souvenir stalls.

Nice place with a wonderful view

The place was not very crowded the day we went. You have very good view of the rivers and the surrounding countries. We rented a boat and did a river cruise. We even went over to Laos and spent some time there, had some coffee. Overall enjoyable experience.

This is very lovely atracción in Chiang Rai but since COVID, market in Lao is closed for tourist and groups. Do t forget to visit big Buddha on hill

Worth the ride

We hired a scooter and travelled up from Chiang Rai to Golden Triangle. Lots of tourists there but not too busy. Great photo opportunities, not a lot to do but worth going too. Got to see the 3 countries, took lots of photos. Some market stalls and food stalls there & river trips. Spent about 30mins there.

3 frontières pour un souvenir inoubliable

Au croisement des rivières, les frontières sont figées. D'un seul regard, on embrasse la Thaïlande, le Laos et la Birmanie. Des boutiques proposent des vêtements et des souvenirs de très bonne qualité à prix raisonnable.

The time of your life

Fantastic experience. From a really emphatic welcome from the staff to the quality of our room, you couldn’t fault it. The food was amazing with so many delicious choices.
We met the elephants and walked with them, stroked them and had photos with them and they were a very gentle bunch! The Mahouts were equally as friendly and facilitated whatever you requested that the elephants do. Amazing experience. Loved everything about this place and the staff.

The boat ride was well worth it.

A friend and I went on a short boat ride (30 minutes?) and got to see Myanmar, Laos, and Thailand from the water. Some nice views and a interesting experience.
