I came here twice this year and started as a complete beginner. On the second day, I was already up on the board thanks my amazing instructor and by the end of my stay, I was able to just rent gear. Everybody was very welcoming and helpful, especially Jenny, who works at the shop and manages the bookings, etc. The place itself is very nice to hang out so I even came here when there was no wind. Everybody I met here also felt like being taken care off well no matter what their level was.

Great instructors, great management, great equipment: thanks to the KBA Huahin team, I went from absolute beginner level to autonomous kiter in a secure and pleasant atmosphere.
Jenny, who coordinates the activities with a contagious smile, follows your progress and is always there to guide you.
When I was ready to purchase my own equipment, Mike, who manages the Huahin KBA branch, ensured that I had a perfect fit for my needs at an unbeatable price. I'm now able to confidently kite in strong conditions (25-30 knts, 2-3 m waves in Aruba) with top of the line gear (North kites).
Without hesitation, I fully recommend the highly competent team at KBA.

I was with KBA-Kiteboarding Asia for 4 weeks and I made an excellent experience with them. They have a lot of skilled instructors who guided me through this exiting sport. I would like to thank all of them for their support.

Really enjoyed my experience with KBA in Hua Hin learning to kiteboard. The staff in the shop Mike and Jenny were very knowledgeable and could not have been more helpful. Katie my instructor was excellent. The entire experience was great. I'll be back next April. James Sevier

If you travel around and suddenly the wind conditions look nice for a quick kitesurf session, this is the perfect place.
I could rent the complete equipment for a few hours, which was really a bonus to my trip, at a competitive price.
The staff is really helpful in preparing the gear (although I insisted on pumping myself the kite!) and helping you launch the kite in safe conditions (narrow beach when high tides).

For me Terrible
For other i dont know
I told the staff that i never play Sup and have an online booking. Once i was there
I already told the staffs again that i never play Sup before.
They teach me about 10 mins and took me to the sea.
There was not the sup Leash to connect me with sup. i asked them if i fell down and couldn't get sup what i should do. staff tell me that it will back to the beach dont worry.
After tried to play i fell down NO staff came to help me i have to try to come back by myself but i cant fortunately some ppl who swimming there help me. The Sup and the paddle is gone.
No more staff there. I have to find the staff to help me find the board and the paddle. They told me i have to play 30,000 for board and 2500 for the paddle. The staff told me that I dint tell her that i cant play. If i told her i have to pay for another rate (i already told the staff both in the direct message and the staff who teach me).
Finally they find the board but i have to paid for the paddle.
What i knew from here are.
There is not SAFETY to play Sup her
1. There is not any staff to safe you if you fell down in the sea and cant swim back to the beach yourself you might .... (What will i be?? never wanna think about it)
2. After I back And tell that the paddle and the board is gone the stuff acted like it is my fault why dont i follow it and tell me that i have to pay. For the lost ( Are there any staff come to help me in the sea)
3. After i paid for the missing paddle and heading in the car.the staff come to tell me that they will give me 1 hr free to play again with the teacher.
Seem me be good but is it too late?
All i think is why dont they have to staff the check if there are some accident with the players???

I was 20 days there in January without one day of kite. I wasn't the only one. For the students is very difficult because of this conditions. Nothing to do, because they do not offer any other activity. Kitesurf instructors who can just be on the beach. Guests who can just swim or go around. Not so friendly.

I just started kiting here in Hua Hin. I took beginner lessons 5 days with KBA. The instructor was really professional and handsome, his name is Diego. The staff in general was super friendly! The spot is perfect, the school is next to the beach so we didn't have to carry the equipment far. The KBA shop had a lot of different options so I easily find myself a harness and a likra when I was finished with the lessons. I recommend everyone, from beginners to advanced kiters, to come here. Thank you KBA for the best experience in my life!

This is a great place to learn kitesurfing. The school has a good space in their shop and on the beach, the instructors is multi langue and very professional. The equipment is very good, not old unsafe equipment. I'm a kitesurfer and I went her with my son so he can learn this beautiful sport. He really enjoyed it and want to continue with the sport. A new kitesurfer is born. Great place, friendly staff. Go for it.

Is juli 18 a good time for kite surfing ? AMD is it neccesary to book a course or can we just come when we are in huahin ?

I am planning to stay at the Dusit Thani Hua Hin Hotel.
Is this a good location for kitesurfing? is it close by to any kitesurfing schools? if not, please give me your recommendation?

According to google maps, there is one 30 min walk north of your hotel, called 17 Knots Kitesurfing Centre. I have not personally been there, but otherwise just hitch a motor taxi or songthaew and everything just seems pretty accessible.

I am planning a kitesurfing trip to Hua Hin on the 28th of Feb for about 4-5 days. IS it true jellyfish is an issue there? and do you recommend wearing protection?

I saw really huge jellyfishes lying dead on the beach so they definitely do exist, and so I definitely didn't want to take the chance of getting stung by one in the sea so I took the professional's advice and bought a pair of tights from KBA kitesurfing school that covered all the way to my feet for about 800 baht if my memory doesn't fail me. They have a cheaper one, but if you have something similar at home do bring alongside! That said, I didn't wear long sleeved shirt and didn't get stung thankfully, as I was moving a lot inside the water anyway. Hope this helps!
