The last time I was in a puppet theater was 55 (fifty-five) years ago.
And today I visited the Donetsk Republican Academic Puppet Theater for the first time.
So. A well-known story that was staged in many theaters. "The Second Death of Joan of Arc." Performance for adults. 16+. To be honest, I still have some misunderstandings regarding the plot. What is written in reviews is one thing, but something else was also said. There was a hint that the prosecutor, the bishops, and even the executioner were patriots of France, and burned the girl to create a national heroic symbol. Maybe so, maybe not so...
In any case, great job. Thank you all very much.
I would especially like to note the excellent tour of the museum’s exhibition of dolls, which stage director Boris Chernyshov gave to the audience before the performance.
As I entered and exited the theater, I was greeted by the sound of rocket artillery.
O my lord, Saint Michael. Oh holy madams, Catherine and Margarita!

Несмотря на плохое финансирование театра и внешне очень скромный вид, театр может порадовать маленького зрителя достаточно качественными представлениями.
