We had a five week holiday in Vietnam planned for 15/05/20 to 25/06/20.
As part of this holiday, we booked two day trips with Onetrip whilst in Hoi An .
(My Son Sanctuary Adventure & The Secret Waterfall) $320 / £252
Sadly, we had to cancel our holiday due to the covid-19 epidemic and subsequent travel restrictions imposed by both governments.
On 12/03/20 I informed Onetrip of our holiday cancellation and requested a refund.
On 15/03/20 a refund was agreed in accordance with their cancellation policy with a 5% transaction fee subtracted.
Well, 8 months on, no refund has been received.
During numerous e mail communications, promises of a refund we made, delayed and denied.
Latterly, I was told Onetrip had suspended trading and was bankrupt so a refund would be made.
However, Onetrip are still accepting bookings on several websites today.
I appreciate Onetrip may be suffering financially as a consequence of covid-19 and the decline of global tourism but… can you really trust a company that doesn’t adhere to its own policies and procedures?
Nevertheless, my cancellation communications with Onetrip were ultimately misguided and deceitful.
On 25/09/20 I gave up communications with Onetrip and approached my credit card provider for a refund.
In summary, DO NOT make bookings with Onetrip if you have the slightest reservation you may have to cancel your trip.

If you are in Hoi An you MUST go with their trip to the Secret Waterfalls. You can choose a private car, mini van or (what we had) motorbike. Our guides, Harry and Han did a great job. We loved every moments of the day, every challenges, every single part of our experience and we are very lucky and thankful for the boys for leading us and making sure that our journey will be unforgettable. Well...boys...you've done it. Thank you for your company and for everything what we could learn about Vietnam.

We had two lovely lads Harry and Alan take us on the back of their motorbikes to do a day trip to see the pass. They were both very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humour! My friend and I were both new to riding with one of us being a little more nervous, however they were both considerate and accomodating.
The tour itself was also great with plenty of stops in the day (your aching legs and butt will thank you). The food was fab and as were the locations for them.
We had a fantastic time and can't thank Harry and Alan enough for a great experience!
Our thanks to the Onetrip team as well for allowing us to arrange this tour at the last minute.

Had Harry And Han. The thing is everything is from the Heart. Don't do the information and boring. Feel the passion of one trips people.
I didn't tell them but I loved them both emotional and very very tasty food the best local guides. Good job one trip. Superb job.

What a great food tour this was ... we were a group of 4 girls on a 4 day trip to Hoian .. our tour guides Sky, Vinh, Trung, Alvin were super welcoming and nice to us.. we did a lot of stops in different food stands / restaurants taking into consideration what we had already tasted before the food tour. The thing that amazed us was the way we were treated and how friendly all 4 guides were. Great scooter ride to the ancient city and ride on the lantern boats .... finally .. one of our friends was celebrating her 30th bday the next day and Onetrip surprised her with a bday card at the end of the tour .. this was so unexpected and made the end of the tour so special .... highly recommended

Every aspect of this tour was thoughtful, unique, and memorable. My sister and I opted for the motorbike option and were so happy we did. We felt completely safe riding on the bike (with our cautious drivers) and into a rural area.
We were able to experience such special areas of Hoi An and make friends with our tour guides, learning even more about the Vietnamese culture and lifestyle. We were also able to try new foods and a variety of tropical fruits
Overall, I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Hoi An. Unforgettable experience!

If you’re looking for a sign as to whether you should do this tour, consider this it. Do this tour. It was traditional, informative, thrill seeking, and beautiful. I didn’t feel like a tourist, I felt like I met up with my Vietnamese friends and they took me to a few hidden gems. My sister and I did the tour with bikes and the bikes were a great experience too. The tour is also private which made it even more special, only my sister and me, with our 2 drivers/ tour guides/ photographers. The hike/climb to the waterfall was a tiny bit tricky which was fun but might be hard for elderly/injured people.
I highly recommend this tour.

We did the my son tour 01/30 as a group of 5 adults.
Likes:
-great banh mi
-great coffee
-safe and fun motorbike rides
-good runes tour with historical information
-good food for lunch
-cool pottery experience
-photo opportunities of the countryside
Dislikes:
-more expensive than other tours
Dropped us off at another location upon request at the end of the tour

Had a beautiful day , made lanterns did some pottery, then out to the waterfalls! Our guides Leo and harry were prompt, fun, very knowledgeable and we felt so safe whole time even in quite wet weather.... cannot speak more highly of them! Great tour great guides beautiful food and no forced obligation to buy anything ..... all in all highlight of trip so far

Thank you for reaching out to us. Our Village tour is good for you. However, bicycling is the main transportation. As you know that the village is quite and doesn’t have much space for car that’s why we can’t offer the car option for your request.

We are currently in Hoi An for a few days. We've heard good things about Onetrip. Is it possible to do the My Son Temple, secret waterfall and Tra Que village/food in a day? Depending on time would it be possible to include the pottery lesson too? Thank you :)
