冬天来远足很合适,夏天的话想必很热。
入面的山洞很值得一看,整个marble mountain应该大约预2小时走走便可
省时间及体力的话,可给vnd 15,000每位/每次,坐电梯上去,坐下来也是一样价钱。

离蚬港市区不很的一个小山洞, 洞内有几座小庙和神像, 洞顶有个孔, 阳光照射进来时有点禅意. 除门票外, 上下搭电梯要另外买票. 环境不好, 不值得一游.

离岘港约7公里有五座高数十米的石灰岩石峰，分别被配上中国五行里的金、木、水、火、土，所以命名为五行山。山上的多个天然石灰洞穴，包括华严云洞、华严石洞、云月洞、陵虚洞、云通洞、灵岩洞、藏珠洞和天龙洞等。
登上五行山中最高的水山，便能眺望蔚蓝的南中国海与岘港洁白的海岸线，山上许多天然石洞中都有庄严的佛像雕刻，并设有多座庙宇、佛塔，是岘港最具灵气的天然石灰巖山。

唐人海滩附近的景点，开始并没有报太大希望。因为很近，最后一天也没有其他安排，就去这个感觉是充话费送的景点玩了玩。出人意料，这个山上别有洞天。这是个卡斯特地形的山体，就是桂林的那种山体，但在周边平坦的地势上显得很突兀。山上的景点，是中土传过来的佛教寺庙，利用了一些溶洞，建造了佛像佛龛，有人文的古迹，也有自然的造化，结合的很巧妙。山峰高点可鸟瞰岘港城区和海滩岸线，比较壮观。有一个独立的洞窟，需单独购票，位于山下，洞窟地势向下延伸，里面顺势做成了阴曹地府，比较阴森，心理介意的话，可以不去了。

有登山电梯直达山顶，十分方便！山下景致优美，适合拍照。沿途庙寺及山洞皆有可观性，不错！及后才知原来城市观光巴士亦达！

我们很不幸地选了一个很热的日子去游览群山。因为很热，我们没有把所有的山都游览了，只选了一座大的山。谢天谢地，山顶有饮料摊，山脚下有餐厅。我们有点看不懂地图。但是如果你跟我们一样没有导游，那你只要朝着阶梯往上走，那你就不会走错。

Is it necessary to book a tour at The Marble Mountains or you just get a ticket and wander around on your own? In the latter case will 2-3 hours suffice?

No tour required . There’s a good map and I just walked in and bought a ticket. Spent about 2 hours there and lots of little tracks to explore if you’re fit ( some very steep)

My wife and I are planning a trip to Vietnam next year (Mar 2023) and one of the excursions included is a climb of Marble Mountain from Da Nang. However, my wife had polio as a child and has a walking difficulty so we are concerned about whether she would cope with this or not? She manages to get around fine on her own and up and down stairs and hills okay with an arm to hold on to. We have travelled a lot over the years and she managed India and associated site seeing perfectly okay.
Any pointers would be gratefully received!

You can take the elevator up. But there are lots of steps to get into and out of the caves and they can be steep with no handrails. There are also steps from section to section outdoors. Again, they can be steep but there aren't steps - maybe 6 max. at one section.
If it's wet, I wouldn't recommend as it would be slippery. But if she has an arm to hold, she may be ok. And if you're both ok with it, she can wait for you outside some of the caves while you go in.
My main concern would be other people - I would imagine that when busy, there will be many others there and as we all know, people can be pushy, self absorbed and so attached to their phones and selfies that they pose a risk to the safety of others.

I first visited Marble Mountain about 9 years ago. Might visit again as I recall in the shop at the base they sold very nice large coloured stones that would make a good cocktail ring when mounted. I bought one and had made into a ring. Does the shop still sell them, I think they were only about £5 each....?
